Peace & quiet with lots of space

We stayed here for 7 nights in late June with our caravan. The site is a short way off the main road but was very quiet and peaceful most of our stay. Kathy was a great communicator and gave us suggestions of places to visit in the area. The site slopes down from the entrance but pitches are pretty level, 3 at the bottom of the field and 2 others up the hill, one on a level terrace and one on a slight slope which we used and levelled the van very easily. There are great views over adjacent farmland. Pitches have tv cables, although we got a great signal on our aerial. EHU points were easily accessed and there are taps at top and bottom of the site.Grey water is allowed to run into the side. The owner has introduced metres electric this year and its worked out very well at about £2 per day for us. It was a great location for getting to seaside towns and we got the train from Dawlish Warren to Paignton, getting off and visiting Torquay & Teignmouth on the way back, just £14 for 2 returns.. so a cheap day out too There is a large Sainsburys with a fuel station within a mile... so easy to get all the fresh food shopping done. All in all a very enjoyable week and we will definitely be back.
