my favourite things
This is a lovely CL in a pretty village. Lots of space for kids to play without interfering with vans. Countryside very pretty with an easy walk to the Kennet and Avon canal. The pub is lovely, serves great food and beer and dogs are very welcome. The owners are very friendly, as are the staff. Very peaceful and great for watching wildlife - birds, rabbits, badgers. Nice clean toilets and a utility room too for washing up. Community run shop in the village sells most things. Easy drive into Devizes, where there are some good shops.
Booking is recommended as its a very popular site.
