A little gem

What a find . A lovely little site, and perfectly positioned for touring the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford. This was our first stay on a CL and we were really pleased with it. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to benefit from its great location as we had just used it as an overnight stop on our way down to Poole to get the ferry for France- another reason for recommending it, it was ideal for that as well. We will definitely stay here again , and for longer next time.

Truly a Hidden Gem

We stayed here for three nights in August 14, William and Margaret were amazing, nothing was too much trouble they were kind helpful and friendly. This was the best site we have ever stayed at and we will definitely return again. Thank you William and Margaret for everything my children ( All three of them ) thought it was fantastic.

Great CL

We stayed here for 3 nights. Aug 21/23. We stopped off here after our return from Europe for 4 weeks to visit family in Oxford on our way home. We was greeted and shown the facilities on our arrival by William and shown to our pitch. The site is very well kept and looks great. The site is very spacious. We had only booked 2 nights originally but added an extra night we liked it so much.  There are two toilets and a wash basin which for a CL we found reasonable at £13.50 a night.  As for dog walking we also didn't find a place for this but we only stayed close by, but we did see other dog owners go out walking for some time with their dogs. It wasn't a problem for us.  We will definitely return We found both owners very friendly and if you take the time to chat with them I think most people would agree.  That is all.

Uncomfortable stay !

This CL is positively unsuitable for dog owners, there is no suitable dog walk on site or close by, resulting in a car journey to exercise dogs, the CL owners are definitely not dog friendly.  Despite the CL grounds being well maintained, lawned and hedged, the owners of the CL however, lack customer care skills and are unable or unwilling to accommodate ANY issues which may arise during your stay.  Having used many CL's within the caravan club network, I would not recommend this CL, as it does not favourably represent the caravan clubs core values.  I sincerley recommend members to find an alternative CL.

Spacious enclosed CL (with loo)

Well kept and pleasant CL. Large plots with high amp electrics. Nearby road has occasional traffic, but not too intrusive. Other reviewer must have caught CL owner on a bad day, hardly saw them, but very friendly when met (just how we like them). Our two spaniels complained that there is no suitable walks onsite or off and didn't enjoy their walk on the road verge. Usual CL facilities are very good and well maintained.

Won't be back

The previous comments don't fit with our experience at all. When we arrived there were already 6 outfits on the site and we were given a most aggressive welcome by Mr Goodwin. Payment is required upfront which we have not met before, the site is surrounded by extremely high leylandii ( so no views ) and a rash of notices, none welcoming, many about dogs.  Mrs Goodwin was pleasant and the site is clean and tidy.

Chippy delight

More than pleased with this site, flat and access was easy. The owners were so helpful and each day inquired whether everything was alright. The first stay there we were near the road, some traffic noise there but it did not keep us awake. We look forward to returning again, and maybe bring some friends with their caravan. Would recommend the site to anybody.

Pleasant CL

We spent 4 nights at this pleasant spacious cl and enjoyed our stay very much. The owners, Margaret and William were very welcoming, pleasant and extreamly helpful, especially when our water pump refused to work. Toilet (ladies and gents) adequate, nice screening and lawns well mown. Slight early morning vehicle noise from neibouring premise but not a problem.

Top class CL

Excellent site, flat, spacious, quiet with extremely helpful and friendly site owners. This site even provides a ladies & gents toilet which is exceptional for a CL. Comment on other reviews, (i) as far as I am aware , the site next door is Camping & Caravanning Club, also, (ii) while I was on this site I saw one caravanner with a dog and they couldn't be bothered to have it on a lead ( which I reported to the site owner). The site also has an excellent rally field with and without electric. Will be very happy to visit again.
