peaceful

Lovely site, clean toilets, flat surface, peaceful, friendly/helpful owners. Did a lovely walk to Chipping Norton through woods. Good bus service from Chipping Norton. Nearby garage to get supplies (M & S). Very good touring area. My only criticism - could do with the hedges being lower.

Good CL with reservations

CL itself was good, flat and spacious. Individual pitches separated with hedges. Not impressed with cleanliness of WC so didn't use. Beside busy road, and adjacent to commercial site, which likes to have live music twice a week. Only problem we had was 'dog friendly' owner didn't like dogs on site, and was very unpleasant to us. He expected us to take dog out onto busy main road, which was not possible for a dog which doesn't like traffic so created an uncomfortable stay. I specifically book sites which allow dogs, and always check with owner before confirming booking. Would not return for that reason, love me love my dog!

Good place for central exploring

Very friendly owners. Hedges are high but were being "shortened" while we were there. Traffic noise from the Hook Norton Road is quite high, considering it is a minor road, but OK at night. Lots to see and do locally. Will return there to continue our explorations

Lovely spot

Helpful, friendly owners. Large, level, lawned pitches surrounded by high hedge. Short drive into Chipping Norton and good centre for exploring Cotswolds. Would definitely stay again.
