Very nice CL

We stayed on Lavender lodge for four nights in August. Really enjoyed it we where touring round norfolk and it was one of the best CL we stayed on. Mrs Varley was very friendly and helpful. CL is well kept  there is water on each pitch which we like. Nice pub down the road had a meal there really enjoyed it . Very good CL would go again.

What a classic CL!

This is everything a CL should be, as described by previous reviewers. Mrs Varley provides good hospitality and a meticulous site. There is a weak WiFi signal available from the adjacent Holiday Cottage. Be aware that this is a farming area and there will be noise and dust from tractors and harvesters in the fields at peak times of the year. But you wanted a CL in the country didn't you! A Muntjac deer sited running across the lawn at 8 pm.

Lavender Lodge

An exceptionally well maintained site midway between Swaffham and Fakenham. Individual water/hook-ups to each of the pitches and 'level site' means just that with no need for any levelling at all. Just off a quiet lane with a small sign pointing to the access - be careful though as the sign is immediately opposite the access so you turn in at the sign. Close to many NT locations as well as North Norfolk coast and Sandringham. Mrs V is a great individual and the information pack she provides is a model for others to copy. One of the CL's we hope to visit again sometime.

Nothing Fake about this one!

A lovely CL. Pitches spacious and clearly marked and the grass regularly mown. Mrs Varley the owner is a lovely lady who greeted us on arrival and handed us information about the CL and the local area. We were asked if we would like to borrow a TV aerial at no extra charge which we did. We will definately being visiting this CL again.

annie's site

we have visited this site a few times, and we think its probably the closest you can get to a perfectly maintained site. as soon as a caravan pulls off mrs varley gets on her lawn mower and cuts the grass ready for the next caravaners, also she is such a friendly person its hard to leave the place, We live in Kent and always look forward to a visit, the other big plus is water at each pitch,so we can use our mains set up,NO FETCHING WATER . Thanks Annie.
