Wonderful late spring break

This is the second time we have stayed at Llainfran CL and it is better than ever. A beautiful secluded setting with a view of the sea and fabulous walks. Jane and Gary are very welcoming, helpful and relaxed without being intrusive and the site is delightful with wildlife areas and an excellent new shower block with washing up and dog washing facilities. Books and magazines to borrow and fresh eggs available too. The area is relatively unspoilt, wonderful beaches and countryside, small towns and restaurants to explore. We have stayed in many CL's around the country and this is one of the very best.

Wonderful CL

This is a fantastic CL, run by Jane and Gary. The facilities are spotless, modern and are easy to use. Recycling and environmental protection are important to the owners but are not restrictive and probably not much different from what you do at home. The views and the area are stunning, sunsets are fantastic and the only downside - if you can call it that, are the narrow roads in the area, but hey, you are on holiday and don't need to rush about. The pitches do slope, but large blocks are provided to help with positioning your unit and it didn't cause any problems to us. If you want peace and quiet with fantastic views and sunsets, this is the site for you. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Tremendous

This is one of the most amazing sites we have visited. It’s well-maintained, beautifully positioned, spacious, spotlessly clean and tidy. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and there’s lots to see and do nearby. We had 10 wonderful days here and are keen to return.

The way CL’s should be

We recently stayed at Llainfran for a 5 night break. The site is to my mind how all CL sites should be…. The pitches are spacious, sloping, but large blocks of wood are provided for levelling. The grass is well tended, but without lots of clippings everywhere. The views and sunsets fantastic. The amenity block is modern, clean and well provided. Not many CL sites have laundry facilities… Jane and Gary are lovely. Lots of information provided and always around if you want to find them. Fast broadband is provided free of charge which is a bonus. You are asked to recycle and separate food waste as well as having a reasonable limit on the electricity provided free of charge. We used all our allowance and a bit more as the weather was cold when we stayed and we paid an extra £3 for the whole 5 days. In warmer weather you won’t use extra I’m sure. Personally I found this to be a welcome idea, both recycling and considering energy usage. Our excess electricity bill was less than a fancy cup of coffee, but fast WiFi was free… In short we’ll be going back, I would heartily recommend the site, but need to keep it a hidden gem so I can always get a pitch…. 😁

Fabulous site

What a fantastic site. Jane and Gary were so welcoming, the facilities were spotless, it was a real bonus having showers, toilets and a laundry room. The WiFi connection was excellent. The location is stunning with seaviews and within walking distance of a secluded cove. The walk down through the woods takes you past beautiful waterfalls. We really enjoyed meeting the donkeys and alpacas. It was very useful having an enclosed area to walk our dog. We are looking forward to our second stay in August.

Llainfran Holiday

We have just returned from a visit to Llainfran CL site near Newquay in Wales. We were greeted by Gary as soon as we arrived and both him and Jane are really good hosts. The site has quite a narrow entrance but a blue plough just outside stopped us from sailing past! The site is well laid out and each pitch has loads of space. Its a short walk to the water tap and a little further brings you to the lovely walk in shower/toilet and washing up area.Next to this is a barn for recycling and a small caddy is provided on the pitch for food waste. They have a field with some alpacas and donkeys and a small woodland walk around a little lake .Eggs are for sale in a little box with an honesty jar for the money. The site is near to Newquay but you do need to take your car everywhere as there isn't anything within easy walking distance. We will definitely visit again and would recommend the site very highly.

Lovely CL

Just returned from a lovely 5 day break at Llainfran CL. Booking was easy via the CL Booking App (clbooking.co.uk/property/310); Jane phoned me within a couple of hours of my enquiry to complete the booking and confirmation was sent via email. Owners Jane and Gary met us on arrival and were very welcoming and friendly. The site is lovely; peaceful and quiet but with easy access from the main road and into the site itself. Pitches are well spaced allowing plenty of room, with a lovely sea view. The site is sloping and levelling is required, but plenty of levelling blocks are provided on each pitch so this wasn’t a problem. After showing us the layout of the site, Jane provided lots of information about the surrounding area by email, including eateries, local bus routes and walking maps. 10 units of electricity is included in the price, we paid an additional £3 at the end of our stay (it was particularly cold towards the end of our stay so had the heating on more than usual) and thought this was totally understandable and fair. The site has 5* facilities including a shower, toilets (green toilet fluid), outside washing up area and laundry room. There is even a dog / bike / boots shower near the outside washing up area, and a dedicated fenced area where dogs are allowed off lead - Jane and Gary have thought of everything! Free fast wi-fi is included and TV reception is excellent. The site is in an excellent location for exploring the area by foot, car or bus. The local Cardi Bach coastal minibus service runs on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday (not sure whether it runs more frequently during the high season) and stops within ½ mile of the site. The coast path is approximately ¾ mile walk from the site, and a further 4 miles (approx.) to New Quay or 5 miles (approx.) to Llangrannog in the other direction. All in all a great site, would not hesitate to recommend.

Great find

Just returned from a short break at Llainfran CL Site. What a great find. The site is lovely - the vans are well spaced out and the view from the vans is beautiful. Jane and Gary, the owners, are very friendly and able to give you lots of information about the surrounding area. There is electric hook-up on site and also a "shower shed" with great facilities including a shower, toilets and laundry facilities. We also had excellent wi-fi connection and excellent TV reception. All in all a great site which we will definitely be visiting again and would not hesitate to recommend to any visitors to the area.

"Probably the best CL in the world"

We wanted a couple of nights away and the weather forecast looked good so we rang Jane and booked in for the following couple of nights. Received email welcome packs with all the useful information. Easy access, and lovely quiet pitch (number 3). We needed to level up but don't you always? This CL has everything you could want. Toilet, shower, washing, water, electricity, free wifi and chemical disposal - all in spotless condition and perfect. We struggled to find green/organic chemical fluid but they supplied that at a price that was much cheaper than Amazon! If you want a quiet, relaxing spot to explore this lovely part of Wales then you would be very hard pressed to find anywhere better.
