Brilliant CL

We have been visiting at this site three or four times a year for about seven years. There is plenty of space and no need to be close to another outfit unless you choose to be so. As a very keen birdwatcher I love the proximity of little owls who breed in the trees around the site; green and great spotted woodpeckers; in summer, lesser whitethroat & spotted flycatcher to name a just a few. Barn owls breed in the farmer's barn. There are excellent walks from the farm. Beaches are not too far distant and there are many other attractions within a short drive of the site.

Second Visit will visit again

This was our second visit to this CL but at a different time of year. The site is a large and level and the site owners very friendly and helpful. We found the location to be central to many of Kent's attractions including good cycling routes direct from the CL. Will visit again.

Fab Site, Fab Time

Just got back from 3 nights at this site.It was our first time staying here and we will be coming back..... Friendly owners, peaceful site, easy to get to, and surrounded by lovely walks for 4 legged friends. Would recommend to others. Well done Peter on a fab site.

Very Disappointing

I have been wanting to go to this CL for some time, having read the reviews. I followed the directions, and found the CL without issue, but then found that the entrance was very narrow, and lead onto a single track driveway. I was met on the driveway another car, and a very grumpy and abrupt owner, who forced me to reverse out some distance, and was given a 'telling off' for not giving way to vehicles leaving the site. His attitude very nearly caused me to turn around and leave, and I certainly wouldn't use this CL again.

Amazing

This is the first time we have stayed at this farm and we will certainly go back again. Not only do we give it all 5 stars, but the owners are fantastic people. Even got to be included in the lambing, including bottle feeding a 3 day old lamb. An experience of a life time.

Superb

I thought about saying this site is rubbish as I wanted to keep just how good it is a secret, however that wouldn't be in the spirit of things would it ? If you want peace and quite, 2 acres of space for 5 vans, no tents, lovely owner, level pitch, nice area, no traffic noise and no light pollution then this is for you my friend. We wanted all of those things and spent a bit of time making sure we got them, we even contacted the owner just to make sure it was as good as it sounded. AllI can say is we were not disappointed, this site was just awesome and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. Just make sure you don't book it next time we want o use it !!!!,!,

So quiet

Having read the other 2 reviews there is not a lot more to add. It really is a quiet site away from roads etc. The owners are very nice. You can't ask for much more .

a nice friendly site,(by the gait family)

we have used lords farm for some years, over this time it has just got better and better.the site is quite easy to access, with a concrete, shaled track.electric hookups are well spaced.it is a level grassy site and with 2 acres spacious.the grass is also cut regularly.the walks start from the site.you can follow the dyks until you get to the military canal, then go left for ham street or right to ruckinge, both have good pubs that serve meals etc. pets are welcome and doggy bins are provided, there is alo a lot of wildlife around on site and on the walks.

Peace, tranquility and space to spare!

Superb CL in a huge level field (2 acres) surrounded by fields. Abundant wildlife around the site and easy access to surrounding attractions such as Bodian Castle, Camber Sands, Sissinghurst etc.. Not to be missed is the Saturday coffee morning in Ruckinge church parts of which date from the 11th Century. Altogether an excellent CL in a lovely part of the world - highly recommended.
