Easy Access to site

We chose this site as it is close to family we were visiting. The site is easy to get to from the motorway. Informal pitching but plenty of room, slightly sloping so leveling blocks are needed. Owner's are very nice & helpful. Useful toilet & shower on site although we did not use them, there's also a washing machine for a small extra charge. Nice chip shop, tesco express & pub within walking distance. The site is well placed for siteseeing in the area, we will stay again when visiting the area.

outstanding site with a warm welcome

it goes to prove you don't need commercial sites with club houses, evening entertainment etc all the time... We stayed here for Easter weekend with our to kids and it was a fantastic weekend. With lots of walks, cycle rides for the kids and local attractions to visit such as Romsey Rapids 10 mins drive and Paultons Park 10 mins drive we had a fabulous weekend. To top it off a short 5 min walk up the lane was the amazing White Horse Pub which served great food and had friendly attentive staff. Tim and his wife made our stay from start to finish a magical weekend, and we most defiantly will be back. We cannot praise them enough.... book on you wont be disappointed!!!

A Great Weekend Stay

We stayed on what appeared to be the one hard pitch near the entrance to the site which was perfect in our motorhome (there was a lot of overnight rain and the grass got quite wet). Very friendly owners (including their dog), excellent facilities and very quiet. Easy and quick access from the motorway but also easy to access some beautiful quiet lanes for cycling. Walking distance (0.75 mile) from a Tesco express store passing the fish and chip shop on the way. Overall a great CL would definitely recommend.

Warm Welcome & Excellent Location!

After 25+ years of using Club Sites this was our first visit to a CL!! The owner Tim could not have been friendlier or more helpful. As new owners they are steadily improving this site which has a well mown pitching area as well as a separate toilet and waste disposal point and 16 amp ehus. There is even a washing machine available! Access is easy down a long lane and the electric gates protecting the site ensure a feeling of good security, especially with Tim & Catherine living on site too. This is a lovely quiet rural setting but within 5 minutes of the M27 so great for visiting Southampton, Bournemouth and the New Forest. For those with younger children Peppa Pig World and Paultons Park are a short run away. The site is open all year which is an added bonus for us as we were visiting grandchildren nearby. All in all a great site, great owners and great location!! Thank you Tim and Catherine!!

The little Secret hide away.

This is our second visit to the site we stayed in the October 2016 half term for 4 nights 1st with the new owners Tim and Catherine were so welcoming and friendly nothing would appear to be too much trouble. It’s well situated for easy access from the motorway and to the new Forrest. We pitched level without any leveling aids plenty of room to get in and out of the site. We will be back again Paul, Diane& Megan

We'll be back.....

We have recently returned from our first (but hopefully not our last!) visit to this CL, which is conveniently situated for Southampton, Portsmouth and New Forest areas. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Tim, and later met Catherine. Although inevitably there was some mud on the grass, the pitching area is solid enough to ensure a heavy outfit won't sink in. Lovely sunrise views over the fields, toilets kept very clean and site generally neat and tidy. Very nice, thank you.

A nice quiet hideaway

We stayed here for eight nights at the beginning of November 2016. We were welcomed by Tim and had an enjoyable stay. The gates to the site are locked each night but you can have a key if you are likely to be back late. Although only just a short distance from the main link road from the motorway to Fawley etc it is a quiet location and I saw deer a couple of times in the neighbouring fields when walking the dog in the morning. The White Horse just up the road is very good for meals and welcomes dogs, as does The Gamekeeper in Woodlands. Both are within walking distance. It was nice to find a site like this within easy distance of Southampton and on the edge of the New Forest. I gather that Tim is hoping to get some improvements undertaken shortly to the facilities.

Keep it quiet!!

My wife Jo and I stayed 3 nights on this superb CL. The owners Tim and Catherine were so welcoming and friendly that I am sure nothing would appear to be too much trouble. The site is very well maintained with excellent facilities and convenient for access to local cycle trails. Our only concern is that if too many people find out about this lovely CL it will become difficult to book a return visit, which we definitely plan to do!

Reluctant Reviewer!

I'm reluctant to recommend this site as it will encourage lots of bookings and mean we might struggle to get in next time! What a fabulous gem in the middle of beautiful countryside. Tim and Catherine are so friendly and helpful and have put lots of time and effort into making it what it is now. Would highly recommend both the site and the area and am looking forward to many visits.
