Why stay here ...

Meadow Bank Farm is located in Netley Marsh, a small village to the west of Southampton on the A336 Ringwood Road.

The site is situated at the end of a long driveway off the Ringwood Road, which can be found about 100 yards past The New Forest Motor Company, a small second hand car dealer business.

Although a quiet site in rural surroundings it is situated about 2 miles from Junction 2 on the M27 and it is a 5 minute drive to enter the New Forest. It is only a 20 minute drive to Southampton City Centre.

There is a local pub, The White Horse within a 5 minute walk from the site and a Morrisons superstore is a 5 minute drive. The local shops in Totton are quite comprehensive and are about 5 minute away by car and there is an excellent Fish and Chip shop in walking distance.

The nearest beach is a 25 minute drive at Leepe Country Park, an ideal dog walking area with lovely views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. Calshot is a similar distance away. More sandy beaches can be found along the coast towards Bournmouth, for example, Highcliffe which can be reached in about 30 minutes.

The site is quite flat and comprises of 5 hard standing pitches, which are all accessible from the driveway. During the summer months there are also 2 grass pitches available. All the pitches have 10 amp EHU's. The Caravan Site is part of a 4 acre meadow that is also home to 3 resident horses.

Facilities available are: a wooden building for the chemical toilet, waste and recycling bins and 2 separate drinking water taps. There is a single toilet and shower facility which is open at the discretion of management.

The current owners, Tim and Catherine Hood purchased the property in May 2016 and have made many improvements to the whole site.

Meadow Bank Farm CL is open all year round. Whilst it does not have facilities for children, they are welcome if supervised by their parents and well behaved dogs are also welcome.

Great place

Meadow Bank Farm
This is a great location to get away from all the hustle and bustle, a hidden gem. It’s a peaceful location, with everything you need. Tim was very welcoming, he come over and introduced himself to us, and then showed us where everything was to ensure our stay went nice and smooth. Which was very helpful as this was our first ever caravan trip with our new caravan.

Another wonderful stay

Meadow Bank Farm
We have just returned home after a fantastic 8 nights at Meadow Bank Farm. Tim and Catherine are always very warm and welcoming. The site has undergone a lot of work in recent years and is a credit to Tim and Catherine. The site is tucked away from the main road, giving peace and quiet, together with security. The facilities are always clean and tidy, and everything is as you would expect of a CL site. We had a great stay, and look forward to returning to this wonderful site again soon.

Would return

Meadow Bank Farm
Lovely site, stayed for 6 nights, was a pleasure to meet Tim and Catherine , close to Beaulieu, and a wild life park, or just to have a lovely stroll through the forest, nothing is to much trouble if you want to ask anything. If you use showers , £2 per van per day to use the shower, we thought this was very reasonable as only 22 pound per day to stay there, they ask you to clean the toilet when finish and they leave bleach etc for you to do this ( good idea if you ask me) there are security gates with code which I liked .Thank you for a lovely stay ,will return one day

2 night stay

Meadow Bank Farm
We stayed 2 nights. Great site for us. Quiet with plenty of space. Easy access to the Red Funnel Ferry terminal for the Isle of White. Caution - Site entrance not labelled so very easy to miss and we did miss it first time. Drive down narrow lane taking it on faith CL was at the end and fortunately there was.

Not for us

Meadow Bank Farm
Didn’t enjoy our overnight stay here at all. The shower facility was absolutely filthy. It does state to leave it as you find it - the mould around the shower base needs removed and new sealant is required. The toilet was almost passable but only just! It costs £2 per person per shower! Thankfully we used our own shower. Owner wasn’t around when we visited. His details to pay by bank transfer didn’t work. I emailed him and he said he was aware of this. I ended up putting cash through his letterbox. The driveway into the site is extremely overgrown with bushes and it is very narrow. We definitely wouldn’t use this place again.
