June 23;
We booked this site as we were visiting friends nearby.It was nice to be able to phone and speak to the owners when booking. Anne was very nice and friendly on the phone, and I had a good feel about the site even before we arrived. The site is nicely laid out, and kept beautifully by the owners. We were greeted on our arrival by Anne and Colin, and after a chat, we set up. We were in a lovely spot under some trees( which was a bonus as it was very hot) . We had a lovely view of nearby hills,and the site itself is not far from Bridport, which is a nice walk along a country road. Anne and Colin are a lovely friendly couple, and ( although too hot at the time) light a fire pit in the evening for guests to gather around. ( should they want to).We did however sit with other guests and the owners on two evenings( and a bonus as two guests sang and played guitars). It is overall a lovely site, ( and a bonus WC ) We will definitely return( I slept like a baby!,) and I thoroughly recommend the site.😁 .

Hidden Gem - Mill House CL
What a find! not to be mistaken for the site next door which is part of a mill and where we thought we had booked (husbands huh!) we had actually booked Mill House CL in Mangerton which turned out to be a very pretty and peaceful site, it was such a delightful find and a haven for tranquility. The owners Ann and Colin were so friendly and welcoming. They visited us each day to collect our recycling and to check that all was well which we really appreciated. The site was filled with beautiful flowers and we were surrounded by trees and hills, as we watched several geese formations flying over us. It is a small site but ample room for everyone. The only fly in the ointment was the neighbouring unit with the obligatory loud voice and done everything and been everywhere chappie. So busy listening to his own voice to notice the beauty of his surroundings. Huge thank you Ann and Colin, we WILL be back!!
