Superb CL

We have just spent 18 nights at this superb CL which is a credit to the owners Paul and Ann. As all the other reviews say the pitches are huge with all services and you can pitch any way you want, along the pitch, across the pitch or beside the grass with your awning on the grass. There are ducks and chickens roaming around so if you feed them beware of the poop and there are woodpeckers, robins.various types of tits and finches to entertain. The road is fairly busy but only really any traffic noise during rush hours. Great location for east Devon and west Dorset.

Stunning CL

An excellent site - one of the very best we have stayed on. On each pitch you get a choice of a wide and long hardstanding placement, or if you prefer you can pitch on the lawned area adjacent to the hardstanding giving you options. Each pitch is fully serviced with electric, water, grey water and elsan emptying point. There is also a gravel road on site leading to each pitch which will ensure you will never get stuck in wet weather. The site is quiet, and scenic with a pond at the bottom, and close to many attractions in Devon. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful - we spent 10 days at the end of May and it was a joy to stay there.

Can't wait to come back

Lovely CL with individual hard standing areas surrounded by grass. Flat and well drained. All pitches 6m wide and fully serviced with fresh water tap, grey water and toilet disposal. The most helpful and friendly owners we have ever come across. Also made friends with the amusing free range chickens and ducks who visited us daily for bread. Beautiful rural surroundings with distant glimpses of Dartmoor. Three new small buildings are reaching completion next to the CL part of the field, but the work, and the buildings themselves, are not intrusive. When finished they will be ultra modern luxury holiday apartments – worth having a look at too. Fabulous farm shop up the road, and lots of places to visit. Very convenient for Exeter, Exmouth, Sidmouth, Topsham etc. Access easy, but don’t do what I did and follow the SatNav which took us off the M5 at Junction 29. Stay on until J30, then it’s a few miles along the A3082 before the right turn on to the A3180. Can’t wait to come back.

Super CL 5 Star

As previous reviewers have said this is a super site with friendly and helpful owners. A few ducks add to the  entertainment while they wander around the site and the 'sole 'chicken will pay you a visit (found her sitting in the front seat of the car) having left the tailgate open. If we are in the area again we will certainly be back.

One of the very best

This has to be one of the very best CL's in ther book - lovely gravelled hardstandings each serviced with its own water, electric, waste and loo emptying facilities. It is also very central for all this beautiful area has to offer. If you are in this area you must give it a try.

Full marks for Moor View

My wife and I have used Moor View for our main holidays for the last ten consecutive years - and we have already booked again for next year. That must tell you something. This last year has seen a marked change to the site with a new gravelled in-road, hard standing, water supply, toilet waste, grey water waste and recycling for each pitch. The site is immaculately kept and you are assured of a warm welcome from Paul and Anna. We believe that this site has got to be one of the best in the book and that's based on 30 years experience of using CL's.

Re-visiting Devon.

We spent 8 nights on this lovely site in July of this year (2013). Paul, the owner was very helpful and made us feel at home straight away. If you needed anything or had any problems, he was there to help. We had to buy some new heavyduty awning pegs and he pointed us in the right direction. It was probably the best CL that we have come across, having a fully serviced pitch makes all the difference. We hope to return, sooner than later. Many thanks to Paul and his family Sue & John Coleman

A well serviced, peaceful CL

We had a very warm welcome from Mr Slade when we arrived at this lovely CL which has serviced pitches with water, electricity and even individual manholes for water drainage and emptying of toilets! The level gravelled pitches are spacious with large grass areas adjacent so that awnings can be erected on the hardstanding or on grass. Each individual is allowed to choose how the utilise the pitch, so we chose to park across the pitch so that when we were sat under our sun canopy we overlooked a large field where a few sheep were grazing. Free range chickens and ducks wandered around the site and there is also a small pond with wildlife area at the far end of the site.. It was very peaceful on the site and, as the pitches are several hundred yards from the road, the noise of the light traffic was not at all intrusive. It was very easy to access places such as Exmouth, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton, and a drive of about 4 miles takes you to one of the Park & Rides for Exeter. A lovely CL that we will definitely visit again in the future.
