Functional cl

Visited this site over may bank holiday. Cl is tucked around the back of a commercial site which appeared to have mostly seasonal pitches. There was quite a big hedge so this area was not overlooked. The cl itself has a decent concrete road with grass either side. Nice sunny spot. Water taps and both end of field a with loo and waste at one end. Dog walking available in the adjoining fields, beware of the pheasants and rabbits. Reg the manager was friendly enough and popped round most days. The site is a bit unkept in the immediate area is obviously going to be developed but not quite getting on with it. Easy 15 mins walk into Wallingford. With a little shop selling everything for daily essentials about 5 mins away. A hungry horse pub and a thia pub also about 5 mins walk. River Thames about 10 mins walk. Footpath along a road all the way. Decent walks along the Thames path would be pushchairs and wheelchair assessible for a short way. There are showers and toilets on site but they are much to be desired although I was told the water was lovely and hot. Defiantly would return to this site again as so peaceful even though it was full. Red kites circled overhead and a deer walked past the caravan , the pheasants just strut about looking important.
