Lovely CL!
We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Oak Cottage, Sue was so friendly and had lots of information about the area, a printed handout that was very useful and her local knowledge was invaluable. We found the site so peaceful, sitting in the sunshine and totally relaxing.
The walk to the beach was easy and very pleasant through the wood parts and we continued along the beach to have lunch at Highcliffe tearoom, steep steps as the ramp is not in use after a landslide.
Highcliffe High Street is great, every shop you could want and a fabulous fish and chip shop opposite a Chinese and is a couple of minutes drive from the site.
The Walkford pub, 500 yards from the CL is brilliant! The staff were lovely and helpful and the range of food offered was great and reasonably priced.
We have already rebooked to visit Oak Cottage again, can’t wait!
