We have just come back from a week stay in this lovely campsite. The owner was very welcoming and site very clean and tidy. You can hear the trains but they don't go through  the night and never bothered us at all. There is a 20 minutes walk to the Beach via Chewton Bunny Nature Reserve and about  the same distance to Highcliff village where there is a co op and Tesco express. There is also numerous coffee shops . We had a meal in the Globe which was okay,but nothing great. Highcliff castle is worth a visit and there is an easy walk  along the coast to Mudiford. Hengistbury Head is worth a visit and the car park will cost £4.60  for 4 hours. We would thoroughly recommend this CL and will be back
