Owls make more noise than the trains

The site was easy to find using the sat nav and we had no problems accessing the site with a 2 berth caravan. The owner was out when we arrived but other campers who were regular visitors to this site told us where the water and waste disposal was (could have found easily as were in an obvoius place opposite the main house). The owner arrived very shortly and was very friendly, giving us a local information sheet detailing the walk to the beach and advising of the local markets. Lymington market is well worth a visit on the Saturday. In addition to the walk to the beach there are also well marked dog walks towards the Woodland Burial ground behind the pub. The pub served very good reasonably priced food which made it a good excuse not to cook. The site, although within walking distance of the pub is set back from the road and secluded. Although the trains can be heard they did not bother us and the owls hooting at night made more noise than the trains. Free range eggs are available from the chickens. Local coarse fishing within a couple of miles. Just be aware if staying on the site that your caravan or motor home will need to be self sufficient for toilet and showers.
