Top quality CL

Lovely well maintained CL, located in the heart of the Yorkshire wolds. Immaculate facilities, and a great welcome from the owners on arrival. The site is slightly sloping, but levelling blocks are supplied, grass cut short and clippings collected, 2 WC's and 1 shower, peace and quiet with views across the countryside. Access is quite tight for larger outfits, but is no problem if you take it steady. Added bonus is the price £13 per night with electricity

Lovely CL in the Yorkshire Wolds

Peaceful, beautifully maintained site in lovely countryside and not too far from the coast. Easy to find but take the turn nice and slowly with a wide swing for a larger van. Great views, some pitches are sloping although there are plenty of thoughtfully provided blocks for your use. The owners are so kind and welcoming.

Delightful

My wife and I were delighted with our stay here. The friendliness and welcome of the owners, Maurice and Rita, was absolutely top class. The facilities were very good and well looked after. Reasonable access - with care - and plenty to do and see in the surroundings. Definitely recommended.

A warm welcome awaits

This is a beautiful little site, neat and tidy with nicely manicured lawn and hard standings.   Good wi fi reception.  Conveniently positioned for east coast, moors and York.   Access very good.   Will certainly be back.

A great site

We arrived for our 5 day stay over Easter in two vehicles, my partner in her own car arrived well in advance of me as I was towing the van and was stuck in in traffic on the A 64, she was welcomed into the owners house and given tea and homemade biscuits while they endeavoured to find me a route to site to avoid further delays.  On my arrival we located our pitch on the arrivals board and set up on the large hardstanding, there are 5 hardstanding pitches surrounded by manicured grass which clearly drains well as it rained a lot.  There is one toilet and one shower on site. There was an honesty box for the 50p shower charge.  The electricity did trip out quite a bit but I understand that the owner is in process of upgrading, it wasn't a massive issue for us.   It is a lovely location with two pubs 10 min walk away, half hour to the coast and the same to Malton.  I would highly recommend this Cl, we shall return in the summer.

Excellent site

This is an excellent site. A warm welcome from Maurice and Rita was the prelude to a great week's stay in December. The site is easy to find, access is very straightforward and the pitches are first class. The facilities are well organised, clean and easy to use. A great base from which to explore this lovely part of the country. We are looking forward to a return visit next year. Thanks Maurice and Rita, you're both stars!

Beautiful tranquil site

This was our first visit to Pear Tree House but it certainly won't be our last! On arrival we were shown to our pitch by the owner who was most friendly and very helpful showing us all the facilities and telling us a little about the area. The site itself is a little gem, hidden away form the main road it is an oasis of calm and beautifully kept grounds. The pitches are well spaced and set on hard standing with a beautifully manicured lawned area to the rest. There are two restrooms with showers and these were superb, immaculately clean and the hot water was plentiful. An easy 10 minute stroll down the road takes you to two lovely pubs and the coast is not more than a 20 minute drive away. If it is peace and quiet in a tranquil setting that you want then this is definitely the place to go.

Our Favourite CL, Yorkshire Wolds

Don't tell anyone. but this is the most lovely, peaceful place to spend time in your caravan. Owners are so welcoming and helpful (12 months on we finally returned the levelling chocks they lent us when they taught some very green, new caravanners how to chock up our van). Surrounding area is stunning, lots of bird-life (watched a buzzard circling above us), superb walking and Wolds Way Lavender is worth a visit. Malton is nearby and coast is not too far. The site is beautifully kept, great facilities, and the sun has shone every visit. Bliss.

Fabulous cl site, spacious plots, hard standing pretty level.  Very handy for 2 local pubs in next village can recommend the star inn food was great and reasonable.  Well impressed with the facilities on site wasn't expecting to have such a good shower. Definately will be back.
