Good Cotswold location

Site has a good size entrance. Good level field & hook up. Good 3G. LocalPlacesOfInterest good for Kingham & Burford. Site next to fast B road & rail but not an issue of noise. Recommended as very rural a scenic. Great for dogs, very quiet

a pleasing cl

Easy to find and a wide access. Delightful views, with pretty villages nearby. A well kept, mown area which sits like an island in the middle of a wild flower, natural habitat. Clean, well maintained toilet . Good recycling facilities. As regular cl users we look forward to returning.

First impression

Finding the site was easy, although the entrance had moved. The slope did not give any problem and there were extra wooden blocks available for the steadies. The veiws are super, the noises from the trains and roads were not distubing. The services were handy but the recycle bins difficult to use and would have been better in a line and clearly labelled as there is plenty of room. The pitching area was fine but the surrounding long grass needs to be attended to as it induced hay fever which we do not normally suffer from. There is a lot of insect life again probably due to the surrounding long grass. The price had been increased, and we were informed that it will be increasing again, so check before booking. I would not class it as a 'top end' CL but it is OK. We will be staying there again.
