Really lovely setting in Rochford, easy to find and with a very warm welcome. Lots of info given about the surrounding area, things to do, places to visit, public transport as well as all we needed to know about the site facilities. Plenty of space to stretch out on the pitch and no hassle to leave too early the next day. New toilets and showers were a pleasant surprise and good quality. The views across the land were lovely especially in the evening and it;s right next to a golf course (if you’re into that) Also worth noting that if you’re off to Garon Park for one of their many events, it’s an easy 15-20 min walk along the cinder path alongside the golf course. Booking was simple and trouble free with Jenny by phone/text and payment either by cash through a letterbox or bank transfer. Great welcome from Jenny’s brother on the day, entertaining us with his impromptu stand up comedy! Post pandemic, you would even be able to book a horse ride!
