A little gem

What a gem. The site is everything you want very clean and tidy. Stayed here for 4 nights and liked it that much we have booked again for later in the year. Thank Nicola and Richard for a great stay. Sue and Chris

Birthday break

Spent 6 nights at skybarn for a short break and had a great time. Nicola and Richard where very welcoming and the site is very tidy and well kept. We had stayed here in 2014 and there have been some great improvements with the water and drain at each pitch. The nearby attractions are easy to get to. We have an old dog who cannot walk too far and the fact that there is a walk round the farm fields is great for us as he can go as long or as short as he wants. We saw plenty of hares and evidence of deer and wildlife. Lovely fresh eggs are available. We will be back.

A big thank you to Nichola and Richard

Firstly, I can't really comment on local places of interest as I didn't visit any. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours after arrival, my wife was admitted to hospital and wasn't discharged until a week later. We had booked on to the site for four nights and Nichola and Richard were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. After the four nights, the site was fully booked but they sited me elsewhere on the farm so that I could stay close to the hospital. During all this, our dog took ill and Nichola even offered to take me to the vets. We eventually left our caravan at Grantham for a service and warranty work and Richard told me I was quite welcome to store any equipment I wanted in one of his barns. I would like to add that this CL was immaculate, very well run and under different circumstances I'm sure we would have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will certainly consider revisiting in the future. Once again, a massive thank you to Nichola and Richard for all your help and understanding. The McMillans Newcastle upon Tyne

A true treasure

We had out first visit over Easter '18 and despite the weather it was a a pleasure to stay there. Very clean and tidy site with everything easily accessed and a really well stocked information hut the we used to help us explore the area. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked another longer stay in August.

Great CL, so peaceful and relaxing.

This was our first stay at Skybarn Farm CL and it had everything we could wish for, including lovely views, peace and quite, good security, fully serviced pitches and welcoming owners Nicola and Richard. The CL is close to the A46 and very convenient for visiting Lincoln and Newark. Lincoln has a Park & Ride facility at Waitrose, just north of the Cathedral City and drops you off at the Central Bus Station close to the main shopping area. If you like eating out at very reasonable prices then 'The Centurion' at North Hykeham is a must. We will definitely be back to Skybarn!! Mike & Pauline

Lovely CL

This is a lovely CL, well maintained, clean and tidy with good food facilities conveniently located. The site is secure with coded gates and the owners are welcoming and helpfull. We recently stayed for 3 nights to visit Lincoln and surrounding area, nothing much within walking distance but a superb pub, The 5 Bells in nearby Bassingham serves lovely food.

Beautiful Site

A lovely relaxing site..well maintained, tidy and welcoming. Good security and ease of arrival. Water and drain on each pitch is a welcome treat. Good information hut..fresh huge eggs for sale..extra chairs to use. Park and Ride a must if going into Lincoln at Waitrose, free with OAP pass, go to the end of route to the bus station for shopping. Turn left from site to avoid traffic queues to the A607 then left to Lincoln. The new Bomber Command Museum very interesting, allow 3 hours including a stop at the lovely cafe. Whisby Nature Reserve nearby interesting to walk around with about 4 lakes with different walks, plus a cafe. A big thank you to Nicola and Richard.

So near, yet so far !

Arrived on site Thursday lunchtime to a welcome from Nicola & Richard a charming couple with a superb 5 'van CL. Facilities were as expected, fine views over towards Lincoln Cathedral, only a few hundred yards from the A46 yet in total peace of the countryside. Very handy for Lincoln or Newark, good local ale houses providing a welcome and good food. Will definitely return.

Relaxing break!

As we have come to expect a very warm welcome from Nicola and Richard. Richard and Nicola have been very busy ploughing their hard earned money back into fully serviced pitches. We hooked up and that was it no tanks, no water fetching and a good pitch light at night We saw the Red Arrows in full practice flights and as others have noticed if you keep your blinds open the Starlings murmaration. We borrowed a hand drawn map of Nicola and Richard land and had a fantastic country walk. We saw deer and a fox along with lots of bird life. Thanks to you both for giving us top facilitys at Skybarn farm and the best eggs for our breakfast. .

It just gets better

We have just spent another 5 nights here over New year. The Fully serviced pitches are up and running and are superb. As frequent visitors this is another plus for the already great facilities. We watched the Murmuration of starlings over Whisby Nature reserve from our caravan every night which was amazing. Last time we came we saw the Red Arrows fly over twice practicing. This is a brilliant site run by a lovely family. Thank you . See you soon
