Little Gem

Fabulous site , very clean and tidy with quite large hardstandings. There is a very fast road outside so arriving can be a bit tricky depending on the traffic, but noise is not intrusive. Beautiful views over countryside and Cardiff with brilliant TV reception.Visited Penarth and had ice cream on the Pier.  We'll definitely will be going back.

Chill time again

Used this CL a few times as its less than an hour away, and have to say we had a lovely long weekend, just right for blowing the winter blues cobwebs off. The owners are helpful and friendly let our 2 year old grandson run around the field us watching, We all had a great time thank you. Clean and tidy, good size pitches with electric all gravel hard standing some road noise but not intrusive, believe its from the A4232 not A48, less than 2 miles away at Culverhouse Cross is Tesco Mark & Spencer and retail park, plenty for shoppers then you also have Cardiff.  Also St Fagans Museum. You can see the top of the Millennium Stadium from the CL. We will return.

Peaceful and handy!

A little easy to overshoot the turning off the main road but once done it is an easy to access, well maintained site with huge pitches which are all hard standings. The views are lovely. The owners were friendly, helpful and very easy to approach. We had an illness problem with our son who we were meeting in Cardiff and they were were very supportive, helpful and accommodating with possible changes of plans etc. The site is so convenient for the City of Cardiff and for shops, buses etc. We will definitely use it again. Many thanks.

Stunning Views

Very spacious, clean tidy hardstandings. Very fast road outside but noise not intrusive. The picture on site info. page does not do justice to the beautiful views and although excellent TV reception, the birds and rabbits were far more entertaining. Enjoyed surrounding area, especially Welsh Museum of Life. Stayed longer than planned and will definately go back.

Great little site

Easy access from the main road which once your on site you cannot hear at all. Overlooking Cardiff the views are stunning. The pitches are all hard standing and spacious. Locally there's lots to see and do. Well worth a visit

NICE SITE

Excellent pitches and pleasant outlook. Water, disposal & refuse disposal all very good. Some road noise can be heard but not too intrusive. Dogs may be welcome but the description of "excellent walking nearby" is a bit misleading. Despite the site being part of hundreds of acres of parkland they are NOT allowed off the lead. We had to walk ours down a narrow & dangerous road next to the site.
