Just Perfect

Martin and Deborah could not be more friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The shower block and pitches are immaculate. The reception is so cosy and well planned with a lovely comfy sofa to sit on and lots of interesting features to look at. It even has a lovely shop area with very useful products to buy. The dog field has paths cut through, with lots of lovely long grass left for doggies to explore. HAVE to mention the small breed sheep in the next field. They are so friendly. I love sheep, such gentle creatures ❤ Oh and the wildlife pond is our favourite bit. We literally sat for hours there in the sun, watching the dragonflies, ducks and birds swooping down for bugs. Just perfect. Back in August. Can't wait.

Great site

This is our first CL visit and what a surprise. The facilities would put most sites to shame , even free Wi-fi. A great deal of work has resulted in this CL to be a worthwhile visit. The welcome was great and felt genuine. The range of items available in the shop were better than mainline caravan sites. Some road noise but everything else makes up for it. Look forward to staying here in future. Great value for money.

Top CL Run by Top Couple

All the 5* reviews are well justified and deserved by Martin & Deb. They have built up the perfect CL and they could not make you more welcome. Comments on A34 traffic noise is justified but this is a small negative point on 99 out of 100 positive points. It will get my best CL of the year vote.

Excellent site

Lovely welcome on arrival by the owners. Pitch was level and easy to park. Nice walking route from the site with a pub on route. Close enough to Cannock Chase, we cycled there up a track and got on to the biking trails. There is a little road noise being so close to the A34, but this didn’t bother us. The toilet and shower block were so clean and modern. Little shop on site if you need essentials. Great site!

Perfect stop off

This is one of the best sites around in terms of facilities. Everything is perfect & so incredibly clean & well maintained. There honestly isn’t anything that the lovely owners haven’t thought of. Ideal for walking on the Chase & visiting local places of interest. Will definitely come back as it’s ideal for a stop off on route to the northern or south. Brilliant

Amazing site

The thought the owners put into this camp site is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Each time we go there are more improvements. The toilet and shower facilities are immaculate. There is even a little shop on site for essentials. Lovely level hardstanding pitches. Access is through a fob operated barrier so security is great. I cannot recommend this site enough.

Superb Site

We visited Spring Paddock for a 6 night stay 28.5.21. The welcome was very warm and friendly. The site is immaculate and the facilities are fantastic. The dog field is fully equipped with toys and doggy bags. Deborah and Martin were very good with us as I was handicapped during the week with a bad back allowing our relatives to help us dismantle the awing. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back. We would like to give this site 19/10!!!! If we could. Maureen & Pete, Yogi and Boo loved the field

They’ve thought of everything ...the nicest CL we have ever seen

Martin and Deborah deserve every success with this immaculate CL. The site is beautifully laid out, each pitch has its own picnic table and chairs, dog walk field, nature area with pond and ducks. Loos and showers are modern and pristine. Martin and Deborah are friendly and helpful. The shop has local ice cream and other provisions. We went to the area to visit family and friends but were impressed with the local areas of beauty, loads of lovely countryside and forest walks. We also visited shugborough and wolseley centre which were both lovely and well worth the visit. We were debating not to write this....because we will probably never get a pitch again as they will no doubt be fully booked forever and fully deserve that success. Well done and thank you Deborah and Martin.....we do indeed hope to be back!

Fantastic CL

Just returned from Spring Paddock CL and credit to Martin and Deborah for an outstanding site.On arrival we were greeted and explained where everything was. The site is in immaculate grounds and the facilities are kept spotless everyday by Deborah. Both Martin and Deborah are a font of knowledge if you need to know anything about the area and they go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay while staying. For food, there is the ' Chetwynd Arms' Pub a short distance along the road which serve some tasty meals, and which Martin kindly booked a table for Sunday Lunch for us, however we can also recommend the Fish & Chips from 'Johns' in Weeping Cross, all cooked fresh to order. Across the road is 'Cannock Chase' with some nice routes for you to walk it all off. Finally. Thank you, Martin & Deborah for a Great, Friendly and Relaxing stay which should be the CL winner of the Year...... we'll be back again. Dave & Debbie x

Lovely CL

Spring Paddock is the nicest CL we have ever stayed at! The facilities are spotless and very modern. It is obviously still very new, but the site has been very well thought out and provides absolutely everything you could need. Cannock Chase is right over the road, so there is lots of good walking or biking routes available. We did a very pleasant circular route that took in 2 pubs! We will definitely stay there again. The only slight downside is that it is right next to a very busy road, so there is road noise. This didn't really bother us, as we're always out in the daytime, and we didn't hear it during the night.
