Lovely stay

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of September 2015.on this very pleasant and well maintained site which benefits from hard standing with easy access. There were good toilet facilities which were kept in pristine order. Easy access to the whole of Gower Peninsula. There is good pub with excellent food nearby also there is petrol station further on with excellent shop. The family who run the site are very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We will be very happy to make a return visit

Grand find.

This lovely CL has 5 H/S pitches, 2 toilets and views across the farm's fields and over the R.Loughor Estuary to Burry Port and  Carmarthenshire. Access is easy, directly off the road and adjacent to the farm houseand is well sheltered from the prevailing winds. The lane past the site is quiet busy during the day but quiet at night. Our one problem was that to take the dog for a walk we had to use the lane for a couple of hundred yards to get onto a footpath. TV, phone and WiFi reception are good. The position of the farm enables easy access to many of The Gower's beaches and places of interest. The lanes in some of the areas are quite narrow but present no major driving problems. There are quite a number of bridleways close by for the off-road cyclists. The nearest pub is about a mile from the site and from the garage, a mile further on, one can get bread and milk. We will definitely use this site again when we revisit the area.

Lovely part of Wales

Have just spent over three weeks on this CL. The owners & family are very welcoming and friendly. Field is well laid out, and lovely view over the fields. The local pub, The Greyhound has good food, and garage further on has good range of groceries/papers/milk etc. King Arthur's Hotel in Reynoldston is just down the hill from Arthur's Stone, in a lovely spot, with excellent menu. There is some road noise, but as it is a busy farming community it is to be expected. Watching the sheepdogs rounding up the sheep was also very entertaining.

A real farm

Very friendly welcome. This is a real working farm with hens roaming round the van and views across the fields. Loo block was modern & spotless. Would return.

A week in June 2014

This is a lovely little site and the amenities are excellent. We liked that the sheep and a herd of ducks were in the adjacent field - very rural. The Garage just up the road was handy for the daily paper and other odds. Fuel was a fair price too. It wasn't a big deal to travel to places as the sun shone throughout and the scenery was beautiful. The only drawback was the very busy road just outside the gate. It didn't bother us too much but would have been better without. Would definitely recommend this site.

Newbie Caravaners

What a gem. We had only just joined The Caravan club a few days prior and as newbies we were more than impressed.  Really friendly welcome and relaxed atmosphere. We were able to choose our pitch and went for the one at the far end. It was spacious and private. Right next to the gate into the dog walking field which our dogs loved. Lovely views from all pitches and great being in the thick of a working farm. Loved the dug parades and the sheep dog boarding. Totally dog friendly. Toilets always clean. Can't fault it and will definitely be back again. :)

5* CL

We received a great welcome from the owners. All connected with the farm were very friendly. It is very well placed for access to superb walking. Approach and entry to the site are easy as is pitching on the hardstandings. Toilet block was always clean. Fantastic value free-range eggs. We will definitely be visiting again.

Outstanding Site - Would Recommend

This site is one of the most pleasant sites that we have stayed on. Mr and Mrs Gordon were very welcoming along with their other family member also. Lovely clean facilities. We were lucky enough to witness the 'duck herding' and 'sheep dog training' which was an added bonus. Nice to witness a working farm in action. Overall this site is excellent value for money, with no hidden extras. And we will be visiting again!!
