Peaceful

The lawn mower needs a grass box on it ! Very annoying having your shoes covered in grass cuttings and trying not to get grass in your Motorhome. We were with friends so we had two pitches and only stayed for one night.. Our friends didn't arrive until early evening, yet their electric supply clicked off in the middle of the night and they didn't even cook any dinner. Our meter just started flashing red just before we left, yet we cooked dinner and had a cooked breakfast, so they couldn't of had their full allowance on their meter, you can purchase more electric but as we were only one night we didn't think we'd need it.

Peaceful with lovely scenery

Easy to find even though it's off the beaten track. Very quiet and the scenery is beautiful. The loudest noises we heard were cows lowing and an owl hooting. A notice board at the entrance tells you which pitch is yours and the pitches are numbered 1 to 5 going away from the entrance. The slope of the pitch gets steeper the further you go from the entrance so you might want to bring blocks to level your camper or caravan. The only complaint we had is that the wet grass had been recently cut and you have to walk over it to get to the bins and the water. This resulted in a lot of grass cuttings accompanying us back to the caravan despite our best efforts to keep them out. Obviously Matt and Lucy can't control the weather but the grass cuttings were irritating! Overall, though, it's a lovely place to stop and so peaceful.

Booked at Short notice - Excellent Response from Owners - Clean, tidy, Easy Access & views to Die for!

After a family emergency (short noitce Grand child sitting meant my wife detouring to Cumbira whilst I headed North East - meant I needed a site in the Borders at 24hrs notice. Lucy responded promptly to my request and I re-routed from East Yorkshire to the Borders via the A68. Arrived in the last hour of daylight to find easy access, excellent hard standing pitches and these wonderful views! everything tidy on site and around the farmstead. - Wished I had brought our Labrador as the dog walks looked great too!

Lovely site

We found this site , well laid out . The access to dog walking was excellent. Every where including the farm was well kept. Refreshing to find a site owner who hasnโ€™t overcharged on pricing. One point to remember on arrival donโ€™t drive on the grass like we did and another person did to obtain water there are signs but we all missed , the owner has available a long pull out hose. The local area has plenty to offer , would certainly visit again

Great find

After a hectic round of visiting family and friends. Heading home we found this gem. Easily accessible from the A68, Close to Jedburgh and all attractions. Lovely views, very quiet and relaxing site. Walks shown around the farm lots of wildlife around. We had a fantastic nights sleep it was so quiet. We will hopefully be back for a little bit longer next time. Thank you Lucy for accommodating us

Perfect CL

Everything was great, professional service from Lucy from start to finish. Lovely clean site with well marked hard standing pitches that are spacious and have great views. Nice walks around the farm and pretty close to the town. A couple of miles from the border where there are spectacular views. Overall is one of the top CL sites that we have stayed in and we will definitely be back if we revisit the area.

Peaceful and Beautiful Site

Matt and Lucy made us very welcome. The site is well maintained looking over beautiful hills and surrounding farm lands. Easy access into Jedburgh and other locations. Matt was very informative regarding his sheep especially the orphan lambs. Pleasant walks around farm. Hopefully we will return again.

Stunning location in the middle of rolling hills

Beautifully tranquil with the most incredible views out over the rolling hills. We are a large motorhome (8.5m) and access was easy and the pitches are all hardstanding and more than large enough. There is lots of walking both on the farm and also the small, quiet roads around the farm no matter how far you want to go the beautiful countryside just keeps giving! You are approximately 4.5km from Jedburgh which is beautiful but if you don't have a car and want to go in, be prepared for a hilly but beautiful walk through the back roads as there isn't anything else close by so come fully stocked up! We will definately be back again if we are passing through - my morning run through the hills each day were hard, but worth the work for the scenery!

Amazing stay

We have stayed here for a 2 week stay pluse stop overs to Scotland and returning to England for the last 3 years I can't recommended this site enough. Lucy has alway been helpful organised and informative Including when we broke down one year and had to extend our stay un till the car was repaired she had no hesitation I'm accommadating our needs. The site location is gorgeous ideal for exploring the boarders and the Northumberland 250 added bonus is star gazing on a clear night what a spectical. Will definitely be back again Thank you Lucy and the team ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿท
