Great CL site - Stunning views !

This was our first visit to a CL site, it was well laid out and easy going ! Great Welcome and left to your own devices - unless you needed further help ! Some great walks from the site map provided by the site .

Great stay

This was our second visit to the Bumbles, the first being last Summer and this was July just after lockdown. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay. The views are great and there are lovely walks nearby. It’s also handy for Stourport and our family. The route using the information in the guide book was useful as it is the best way to access the site. We will be back and hopefully we will see the beautiful sunset next time. Marion and Ernie.

Fantastic site

We have just spent a week on this site. The welcome we received from Gary, Andrea and Gussie their dog was overwhelming. This site has beautiful panoramic views over a wide expanse of countryside. The site itself was beautifully maintained with the grass and adjoining area cut almost like a well maintained lawn. The toilet is easily accessible and very clean, with a washbasin, soap and towel provided. Gary was like a long lost friend with a font of local knowledge which made our visit so pleasant. This is one site which I am sure that we will return to again and again

Stunning Views

We had 4 nights at The Bumbles at the end of June. The views are absolutely amazing and far reaching. Beautiful countryside all around with some great walks straight from site, thanks Gary for the printed maps and for the local knowledge, it was much appreciated. The pitches take in a full 180 degree panoramic view which includes Kinver Edge. Gary pointed out many landmarks and despite some low level cloud and a couple of grey days we were amazed at how much we could see. On our final day the sun came out and with brilliant blue skies we saw The Bumbles at its very best. Wish we could've stayed for the weekend as the forecast was fantastic. Oh well, another time. Definitely one to put on the list. The site is very well maintained and Gary and Andrea are most welcoming. Thanks very much Brian and Alison

The Bumbles

Lovely site with beautiful views. Access was easy through a coded electric gate. Lots to see and do locally. Gary is very helpful and a font of all things local.

Lovely spot

We stayed here for our first ever 2 nights with our caravan over the early May Bank Holiday weekend. The grass was still quite soft so we were pitched on the owners' drive near the amazing eco-chalet they have built themselves. This is a lovely quiet place with a super welcome and a beautiful view. Nice little toilet / washroom. The owners were immensely helpful to us total novices. Lovely walk recommended by them through the forest to Trimpley Reservoir, the River Severn, Arley Station on the Severn Valley Railway and the Harbour Inn at Arley. We would love to return.

A great site...

We visited for the first time over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend and thought it was a great site. Gary was on hand to greet us and settle us in and continued to be an excellent host during our 4-night stay even offering us a lift back from Bewdley at one point if we found the hill to be too steep on our bikes! We didn't take up that offer in the end but were impressed that Gary had offered. Very well presented site with excellent views over surrounding countryside. Easy access to Bewdley, Bridgnorth and Arley Station on the Severn Valley Railway. Nearby arboretum also well worth a visit. We would recommend highly.

Pleasant stay

Just come back from visiting the Bumbles. It was easy to find and enter after following instructions from Gary. Who was there to welcome us. Lovely views and great sunsets. The site and pitches are kept very tidy. We had a relaxing three nights and look forward to returning.

Another lovely week

Just had another amazing week on this site. Garry and andrea give such a genuine welcome, that its a pleasure to arrive here. The grass is cut to lawn perfection, the views are phenomenal. Garry is now putting in hard standings which combined with hard road entry and exit will make this site all weather. You may note that i have reviewed this site in the past, and given it top marks. I do it again because i think garry and andrea deserve the support of the caravanners they try so hard to please
