You would have to go a very long way to better this site. Very peaceful site,Lovely views and a very warm welcome. Motorhome users be advised that the park and ride at junction 30 will not allow anything over 2 metres high (take that up with Exeter council) but do not let that put you off using this site as you can park at the MATFORD park and ride off the A379. Looking forward to returning. Pauline & Glenn Smith.
Peaceful
This is a lovely little site. Tidy and well kept, it offers lovely views across the countryside. There is plenty of space between the pitches which all have mains hookup. The owner is friendly and wants to make your stay a pleasant one. Unfortunately, although this is a farm, there are no dogs walks, but the lane is so quiet its fine to walk them here. Although the toilets and shower were functional and clean, they would benefit from being upgraded. 10-15 minutes from junction 30 of the M5, it is a straight forward route to site, and with Crealy and Westpoint Exhibition Centre about 5minutes drive away, a good place to stay if you have a family. But equally, if like us, you want a quiet getaway with local farm shops, this is a perfect site for this too.
IDYLLIC SITE
Super quiet site with lovely open countryside views. Large plots on a well kept lawned field. Toilet facilities and shower well cared for. Adrian is on site regularly and is very happy to assist you in any way. This a traditional farm with dairy cattle, free range hens (the eggs are super) and guinea fowls which roam around. The site is easily accessed from the recommended route. Ideal location for walkers and if you like to cycle there is a stunning off road cycle track along the estuary from Exmouth to Exeter Quay. We have visited this lovely site many times over the past 5 years and highly recommend it.

A welcoming rural retreat
Just the place for a countryside idyll. The plots are generous and the lawned field is regularly mown. The basic toilet and shower facilities are immaculately cared for. Recycling on site is well organised and frequently cleared. Adrian gives a very warm welcome and is really helpful.
The setting is traditional farmland: dairy cattle abound, and free range hens and guinea fowl provide interest for the children. Farm-fresh eggs are available and excel over supermarket produce.
Places of interest abound, Bicton Park being a very special attraction. The site is an ideal location for walks and cycle rides.
Highly appreciated and recommended.

Beautiful Devon
This CL.is accessed along a rough..ish road [farm track] into a flat well kept farm field. The views across the fields to the Devon hills are lovely
The track to the site is on a bend in the narrow road leading to it,so some care is needed entering I felt that the sign indicating the CL.could have been larger as other information on the board was more dominant but there is a "public footpath" sign just at the entrance of the farm track which may help as a marker.
There is a cosy traditional devon pub,"the Diggers Rest" in Woodbury Salterton, serving a varied menu of reasonably priced good food.Ample parking.
Exeter,Exmouth,Sidmouth & Budleigh Salterton are within 7-10 miles from the CL. Also,Woodbury common isn't far for some good walking
The only 'downside' to this CL.is the constant "crowing" from two cock birds, which seemed to go on most of the day, & did disturb the peace & tranquility of this pleasant site. However,it is a working farm so some noise is inevitable and we would use this site again and be happy to recommend it,even with the chicken near by!
peaceful but long approach
Site well kept with pleasant views. Only 6 miles from Excited and M5. Toilet and shower farm style but clean. Long approach through lanes.
