Small and very tidy site

A neat and tidy haven close to Leicester. My daughter and I were visiting the National Space Centre and stayed on this site the night before. The site is behind secure gates, just watch the entrance as there is a risk of grounding if you enter and exit at 90 degrees to the road. The site is lovely with some new chalets just being installed when we visited. There are just four hardstanding pitches, so it should be fairly peaceful most of the time. There was some road noise during the day as the site is set back off the main road but it didn't bother me. You can't see any traffic because of the trees, wall and gates. The owner was very friendly and relaxed but didn't really give me any guidance when I arrived. There was no need for a briefing on arrival but I was expecting it (as it happens in so many other places), so was slightly bemused. I rang him and was advised to just pitch up where there is space. He did appear a short time later and recommended a local pub for food, which was excellent. I would definitely use the site again. Being a CL, there are no toilets or showers.
