Extremely helpful owners
Stayed here over the recent Easter bank holiday and really enjoyed our break despite the ground being wet on arrival and my car getting stuck. Fortunately the ever helpful owner positioned my van using his 4x4 (have recently changed my own for a front wheel drive Mondeo......you live and learn as they say), would have to disagree with whoever said this site is like a billiard table.
As previous reviewers have mentioned the immediate area has lots of things going for it and the owners are, as already mentioned, real gems.
There is only one downside that I could think of and that is the cockerills which begin around 3am. Having said that this is the countryside and I have been woken up by much worse noises in my time, by the third morning I'd stopped noticing them entirely, or was that the quality beer from the local pub!
