What a fabulous CL. We arrived in the pouring rain and Myfanwy came down to help us select a pitch. When the weather cleared we realised we were on a sheep farm with terrific views of the surrounding hills and Cader Idris in the distance. Each pitch has a generous hook-up and a water tap. Additionally there is a feed from a satellite dish as there is no conventional digital TV available. You need a Freesat TV or receiver. An excellent shower and toilet is available up near the farm house (100yds) along with a washing machine. There is also a BT WiFi hotspot but the signal is weak in the camping field but probably OK nearer the house John and Myfanwy made us very welcome. This site certainly rates for our "CL of the Year"

Couldn't be better

Beautifully kept lovely site .. can't understand why all the vans in the photos face the way they do .. the view is the other way .. Myfanwy and John have installed a Satellite dish with connections to each EHU point. There is also water at each EHU point. Warning .. don't use the Club POI on your Satnav .. it takes you way up in the hills the other side of Rhydymain. OK .. so it was my own fault but where I turned seemed to match the instructions to a degree. Coming from the Dolgellau, Ty Cerrig is a mile or so past Rhydymain .. on a lefthand bend turn right over the river ..

Fantastic CL

This was our second visit to this super CL site, Myfanwy and John and very helpful and lovely people and will do anything to make your stay a happy one.  The children loved playing in the beck and also going to see the lambs and helping to bottle feed them.  This CL site is very child friendly, first time we stayed the children took part in the cooking lessons that Myfanwy runs and really enjoyed doing that.  The toilet/shower block is lovely and clean and tidy and has everything that you need.  We are all looking forward to our next visit to this lovely and peaceful CL site.

Best CL site

CL's dont come better than this one, peaceful, tranquil, and stunning scenery. A superb shower room/toilet. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and are enthusiastic about the site and farm. It is well positioned to explore Snowdonia.

lovelly cl.

at this cl you are met with a friendly greeting from myfanwy, where she explains where everything is, be prepared with a supply of dvd's, as there is no tv signal, and if using a satellite when the clouds are low then the picture can be patchy. do buy a bara brith, ( fruit loaf), or a home baked loaf. as myfanwy runs a cooking course,  the views are great from the cl,  the new born lambs were being let out when we were there. easter 2015.  the nearest supermarket is in dolgellau approx 7mls away. and a good chippy in bala. also dont worry about getting bogged down in rainy weather as john will tow your outfit off the grass with his four wheel truck.

Totally Fantastic!

We booked to stay here for 4 nights in February but due to a technical fault with our caravan we couldn't actually travel with the caravan and only found out as we were leaving home. Mrs Evans saved our holiday by swiftly booking us in to her holiday cottage which was fantastic! This is ideal for none caravanning friends and relatives who may wish to holiday with you, We had a good look at the CL site as we will be visiting later in the year and found it extremely spacious, individual water points on each pitch, very very scenic and quiet. There is a lovely shower room which is spotlessly clean. Mrs Evans runs cookery classes in a little farmhouse kitchen just opposite the main house, this is a fantastic facility for people with children and adults too who are visiting. We cannot praise this lovely site and very helpful host highly enough and we are very fussy!

A lovely site

You are guaranteed a very warm welcome at Ty Cerrig. The owners couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Great attention to detail in everything, including a picnic table and chiminea for your use and beautiful shower and toilet. Wonderful views and easy access. What more could one want? Don't tell everyone!!!
