Ease of arrival/welcome

Great CL in lovely location.

We had a very friendly welcome when we arrived late, on a cold, wet evening. As there had been weeks of torrential rain, we had opted to use one of the hard standings and Helen suggested rather than manoeuvre in the dark we stayed on the concrete road running up the side of the field for the night. We stayed for four nights and as there were no other caravans on the site actually stayed on the road all the time which saved us walking on wet grass. The rate was remarkably reasonable given the facilities. The amenities were good, very clean and lots of hot water and even a fan heater in the shower room which we really appreciated. There are two WC's in the toilet block with toilet paper, paper hand towels and liquid soap - excellent. There were information leaflets in the toilet block and there was always some one to ask for more information, very helpful. The surrounding area is lovely even in wet November and we were delighted to see seals on one of the nearby beaches. Pembrokeshire is a lovely county and I will stay here again when we revisit.
