OUTSTANDING

we have just returned form a 2weeks stay at this lovely cl. Nick the owner has thought of everything here, probably having had a caravan himself he knows what we like. Each pitch is fully serviced so there is no lugging water and waste. The views are wonderful from every pitch too. If you want peace and quiet with excellent facilities then this is the place to go. A real credit to the owner who works so hard to please all his guests nothing is to much trouble. Just what a cl should be like.

Good addition to the CL Network

We tried this CL on our way from the South to North Wales. Lovely high point to see the countryside and very peaceful. Dog walk spectacular and really enjoyed the walk Nick has laid out around the farm. Friendly family and loved the meat from the farmshop.

WOW!! Stunning.

This site is superb! The pitches and grounds are immaculate; mown grass, hanging baskets and flower troughs, level gravel pitches all with a view to die for.  Every pitch is fully serviced. There is an elsan point and an information cabin.  Nick is extremely helpful and friendly, helped me to back my caravan in. The steaks from the farm shop were so tasty.  This site really is special, I didn't want to leave. Already planning my next visit.

Superb CL

Just back from a three night stay at this excellent CL. Fully Serviced immaculate large pitches with probably the best views overlooking both Cheshire and Derbyshire. Nick is very friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough to help. We sampled the steaks which were excellent and have brought more home with us.  Jodrell Bank was a good day out, you can see the Lovell Telescope from the site.

Outstanding

Just returned from a fantastic weekend. Greeted By Nick who runs it well done to what you have done made it so great. Fantastic big serviced pitches . The views are gorgeous all round plus Jodrell Bank behind in the distance, plus the cows which came to greet us. Nick has put a path to the Red Lion pub then made a bridge over so no going on the road great idea. The Sweetenham Arms was lovely had a drive there really nice. The farm walk is lovely about 2 miles really nice & flat which is great on a nice day or night after tea . The meat I have bought not had it yet apart from burgers & sausage which where lovely. Will be coming again loved it one of the best Cl sites we have been on .

10/10!

This was admittedly our first caravanning trip but surely there can't be many CLs better than this! Superb views over the Cheshire Plain and Penines from it's hilltop location, very pretty countryside, peaceful, secure, a superbly friendly and helpful owner Nick, immaculate new gravel pitches (including electric, fresh and waste water hook-ups), lawn areas and facilities. Even a great short walk across fields to the excellent New England styled and foodie Black Swan pub. We were even invited to a lovely birthday BBQ by fellow vanners (along with all other vans on the site). What an amazing start to our new caravanning life!

This is an amazing CL

we have just spent 2 nights at this CL, Nick the owner is so hard working, he is cleaning the loo and watering the plants at about 7.45 every morning(no noise though he's very quiet).  The site is very easy to find, amazing views and so well thought out.  there is a 2mile walk all around the farm land that Nick has kept short for ease of walking. Plenty of places of interest in the area.  Nick also has his own herd of cattle which he sells the meat to the public, we can highly recommend the Beef, melts in your mouth.  Thank you Nick for letting us stay on your CL, we will be coming back.

WOW x 2

Just got back from a 2 night stay at Welltrough Hall Farm. The site is immaculate, spacious and stunning views. Pitches are hard standing, fully serviced with water mains, grey waste point and hook up. Local pub (Black Swan 'real fire & real ale') within walking distance through the fields opposite, you can't get lost through the fields as Nick the owner has erected little sign posts showing the way. The dog wash facility is a brilliant idea with warm water on tap to clean your pooch down. Nick was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We bought some of his beef sausages, burgers and ribeye steaks whilst there and can honestly say they taste beautiful. I can't recommend this site enough, it has all the essential ingredients for a relaxing break in an area of stunning beauty. We've already booked a return visit in June, look forward to seeing you then Nick :).

wow

This CL has everything we like and more....Nick has done a great job setting up this site. The views are lovely, all hardstanding pitches, own water supply and waste drain, toilet and even a washing machine. We didn't take our dog this visit but certainly will next time. There is a good farm walk and even a doggie shower! We bought some eggs and hope to try the meat as recommended by others. I am sure this site will become very popular, the only negative is if you have to use the M6.

What a sight for sore eyes!

We've just spent 3 nights at Welltrough and I can honestly say the reviews on here and Facebook are all true. The site is immaculate and the views really are a site for sore eyes, the Staffordshire Moorlands and Jodrell Bank to name a few. This site is going straight to the top of my CL list and I'm sure it will be the same for anyone who visits.  We even bought some of the farm beef products and I can tell you that the meat was divine. Nick, the owner, even let my family have a look around the farm with him in one morning. Nick and his family are very welcoming and are working really hard to make this a 'must stay' place for all. Go and see for yourself and I bet once you see the site you will be wanting to go again soon, just like us.
