Fantastic site

Received a very warm welcome from John and Nia. Spectacular views, well kept, good facilities and quiet. Lovely walks. Best site we have been to.

Great new site

Lovely site and the owners were great in every way from greeting us on arrival, explaining the site and the local area, we had two great weeks exploring the area and will be returning as we feel we only scratched the surface. The views from the site are great and the layout of each pitch works a treat, there’s no need to reverse or manoeuvre the caravan as you can drive to your pitch with its individual water and electric and simply un-hook as ample space has been left all around the spacious pitches. The gateway entrance is excellent with ample room to pull up safely off the road for the very largest of outfit, the pitches are about 150 meters from the road so very quiet, the pictures on here and google earth don’t do justice to the site. A great new site with lots of ideas/improvements in the pipeline. We will definitely be back thanks john and Nia

Perfect CL

Lovely site and the owners were very helpful and obliging on our arrival. Views of Snowdonia, plenty of space with electric hook up and water connections on each pitch. Good wide entrance for easy access and plenty of walks off the site. Village shop and take away available just up the road. Farm shop also not too far away with freshly baked bread each day plus an array of meats, pickles and fruits. Newborough forest, where if you are lucky you might see Red Squirrels and access to golden sands plus Llanddwyn Island National Trust Plas Newydd House and Gardens well worth a visit. Anglesey is a beautiful island to visit, beaches, walks and surroundings are amazing. We will be visiting again. Thank you John & Nia.

A site to behold

We stayed at this wonderful new site for 5 nights and will certainly return. It is situated in an area of Anglesey we love, especially Newborough Warren and Llanddwyn Island. The site is open and spacious with amazing views of Snowdonia mountain range a perfect backdrop for relaxing in peace and tranquility. Our dog Del loved the games of catch and meeting new people. Thank you John and Nia for your wonderful friendly and helpful welcome, we look forward to seeing you again very soon. Best wishes Margaret and Huw.

Fantastic CL

We stayed at this lovely peaceful CL for 3 nights which was not long enough! Fantastic views from our pitch of Snowdonia, walks to the beach and the stepping stones and an amazing cycle ride (flat!) along the Cob to Llangefni. John and Nia were so friendly and knowledgeable, we can't wait to return. PS we spotted a red squirrel too!

Peaceful, amazing views and beautiful kept site

This site is absolutely amazing. Easily accessed off the main road with a wide entrance way but pitches well away from the roadside so no noise. Warm welcome from the friendly owners. Beautiful well spaced out pitches with your own water tap and views of Snowdonia. You can walk from your van onto Newborough Warren to visit its beaches, red squirrel forests and sand dunes. Loads of wildlife to watch on the site. Clean and tidy amenities including toilet, an area with often forgotten items to borrow and lots of walking guides and tips. I had such a lovely stay. Thank you.

Our favourite Anglesey CL

Just returned home from a wonderful 3 night stay at this new CL. Although there is plenty to see and do in the area we were in need of a complete rest and this lovely site turned out to be the perfect choice. The views from our pitch must be the best of anywhere we’ve ever stayed. Sitting looking out at the fields of horses, across the Menai Strait towards the Snowdonia mountain range was just idyllic. Owners John and Nia were the perfect hosts, very welcoming but not intrusive, and their genuine enthusiasm for their site and future plans was lovely. The pitches are generous and flat and the huge field was ideal for walking our elderly dog. Thank you so much John and Nia, we look forward to returning with our little Basecamp as soon as we can. What a Gem

We have been to Anglesey many times over the years but this trip was very special mainly due to the warm welcome and hospitality of John and Nia. Their knowledge of the area and information folder they had produced was extremely useful showing many local walks, maps etc. Their site has been designed with true campers in mind. Large pitches, flat ground, own facilities, security for pets, freedom and fabulous views. Everywhere was very well maintained and a pleasure to return to after a long walk. We will most definitely be regular visitors here and wish them every success with their site for the future. Hopefully see you again in June😀 Many thanks Sue & Ian Fawcett - Hamish & Rueben

Just a perfect location

All I can say is if you don’t book here you are definitely missing out on an absolutely wonderful site. The views are just amazing it is so peaceful and tranquil but at the same time close enough to the beach and walks to die for even if the sea mist comes rolling in. John and Nia are just wonderful nothing is to much trouble. And the little treat on arrival well that says it all. Truly wonderful people. Will definitely be coming back
