Brilliant

A beautiful site, Andrew offers a lovely welcome to every new arrival and an introduction to the area sharing lots of information on local walks and days out. The sites well thought out and laid out to give every pitch lots of space, and beautifully maintained and the facilities deserve a five star rating. We loved our Bank Holiday weekend and will be back.

One of the Best

I have been caravanning for around 45 years both in the UK and Europe. Having just returned home from a ten night stay, I have to say this is the first time I have been moved to write a review of a camp site. Andrew Wrisdale, could not be more welcoming, friendly and attentive, skills he maintained from the moment we arrived until the time we left. He is only too happy to speak of the local area in which has grown up and worked, his stories are very interesting. If you are looking for a small quiet site, with good access to many places of interest, probably the best dog exercise area to be found on any camp site, has the availability of many circular walks and a good pub just a short distance away, then this is a site well worth considering. The pitches, toilets and showers are excellent.

Great 4 day break

Would just like to echo other reviews on the quality of this new CL site. Andrew is a super friendly host with encyclopaedic local knowledge. He has made amazing progress since he opened last year to create a lovely, high quality, adults only, dog friendly cl in a lovely location. The 'wet room' style bathrooms are great, dog field fantastic and it is very well located for access to walks galore, a reasonable pub and access to other places in the area. However, can only give 4* overall as the bins in the bathrooms and the main general waste on site needed emptying more often. Know it depends on collection days by the council but commercial size bin would help immensely rather than domestic size. No doubt it's on a 'to do' list! Still 'work in progress' with all the plans Andrew has in mind but we wish him well for the future and would recommend the site without hesitation.

Few days away

Returned to Yew tree farm . As always a warm and friendly welcome from Andrew. The site is lovely and well maintained. The enclosed dog field is brilliant. Plenty of lovely walks from the farm. We walked to Cleethorpes with our greyhound. Plenty to see and fo . We went on the small railway . AA Taxis have some taxis and drivers that are dog friendly so we used them to return to the site . Phone 01472 696969 . Fantastic meal in the Crown &Anchor but would advise to book . Andrew is in the process of building a barn type building for groups to get together . Will definitely be returning again

One night turned into three

Always a good sign when I don’t want to leave a site. At the risk of repeating the other reviews content Andrew is amazing, the washing facilities award winning, the site layout and pitch provisions extremely well thought out. We wish Andrew all the best with his future plans to put Tetney Lock on the map.

Everything you could need

Stayed at this site for a week and had a great time even though the weather was not so good. Andrew welcomed us warmly and gave us loads of helpful tips on the area. Also explained all the walks from site, need more time to check some of them out. Pub round the corner does good food and a welcoming place to just have a drink. Not far to Cleethorpes (can even walk it!) Which has a nice seafront. Louth and the Lincolnshire Wolds are worth a trip out. The site facilities are great, heated wet rooms (2) and indoor washing-up area, nice flat hardstanding pitches and easy access. Andrew has more plans for this site and we wish him well...

5 Star Site that Has The Wow Factor

What an Amazing Site. We have just had an amazing week at Yew Tree Farm. The Friendliest Welcome from Andrew the owner. He gives you information on the surrounding area which is extremely helpful. Easy Access to the Site which is Accessed by a Security Barrier which is a nice touch. The pitches are Hard standings and level. Really solid hard standing too, rock pegs for our awning held really well We had our own tap on our pitch which is great. The toilet and shower facilities are 5 star, heated and kept spotless. Showers are excellent. Small washing up area which is a nice touch. The site setting is Awesome, so many paths around that you can explore. Dog friendly site with fenced off exercise area. All the amenities are easy to find. This is one site we will return to many many times. Highly Recommended Site. Try it you won't be disappointed.
