Great site - Great sights

Pretty easy to find on the Blubberhouses road heading out of Otley.  Locals refer to the nearest pub/landmark as "The Spite"....  its the Roebuck. Entry to the site has an easy gateway that permits a 14m combination to sit safely off the road while getting the gate open.  The site is sloped but the owner (or other caravanners?) have left copious number of bricks around the edge of the pitches for "blocking" a caravan into levelness. The services are great and clearly labelled.  The grey water sluice is neatly paved, level and has a really wide gully.  The loo is dumped (excise the pun) direct into the septic tank...  but that's ok. Phone reception on Vodaphone and 3 are both excellent - very easy surfing the web.  Didn't use the TV so I have no idea about reception...  but this is the most beautiful County in Britain... so why look at the box? Otley (in common with most market towns in Yorkshire) has more fish shops that you can shake a chip at.  I tried 3 - even though I was only there for 4 days - and they were all great.   Is there a downside to this site?  Well the slope requires a bit of jiggery pokery if you use the steeper pitches.  And the road that passes immediately on the other side of the hedge is much loved by bikers.  I probably would not have noticed except that it was "window open all night" weather. The view down Wharfedale is gorgeous.  Top tip for a local visit... Salt's Mill in Saltaire.  It contains lovely galleries, great coffee, fine (and not expensive) dining, a bookshop, etc... admission and parking are free.  Around the mill stand some elegant (but gritty) architecture, a fine park, the canal.....    Oh go and look for yourselves!!
