Good location for short stay.

We stayed here for four nights, the main purpose to attend the football! So good position for the stadium. Excellent facilities on site and good pub next door. Water taxi right outside for site seeing trips, would recommend SS Great Britain. The only downside, although the site was quiet, you could hear the constant roar of traffic and sirens all day and into the night. Not too bad as it was cold and we were 'in' with doors and windows shut, but would find this very annoying in the warmer weather.

Another brillant stay

Made most welcome by the wardens, we have stayed here quite a few times and now know Bristol quite well, we booked Sunday to Tuesday but phoned to see if there were any cancellations a few days before and they said they would tell us if there were any, luckily for us there were! Thanks you Baltic Wharf.

perfect

Always immaculate. Easy to pitch. Perfect location for a bit of city and waterfront life. I gave this site 4 for peace and quiet. You must remember this is a busy city. Most nights you will hear sirens but its not disturbing. It will be a real shame if this site closes

First visit won't be the last

We have just purchased a motorhome and ventured to Bristol for one night, what a great start to our new adventures. The site was in a perfect spot to visit Bristol and we will back (when there is availability) Wardens very helpful and friendly.

Unique

This is just a unique and amazingly located Club Site. Wardens deserve medals for their care and attention to detail. The Club must do everything they can to keep it open for members. Even Storm Imogen could not spoil out stay.

Great site

Prefer this small site when the schools are not on holiday. Excellent for access to Bristol with a choice of bus stop immediately outside of entrance gates (regular service) (just a 10min ride to Broadmead) or a water taxi from The Cottage (20min) straight to the heart of Bristol City centre. Highly recommended.

Super City Site

Another successful visit to a gem of a site. Helpful, friendly wardens, warm clean Toilet Blocks and a nice pub next door. Great walk into the city along the harbour. Perhaps not great for small children and some traffic and other noise, but great for us "crinkles". Very grateful for another "last visit" , let's hope the reprieve is indefinite!

Excellent position

This site is situated in an excellent position probably one of the best for Motorhome owners. It's within walking distance of many attractions plus there is a bus stop at the entrance to the site  and a water ferry the other side. The wardens are very nice and the toilets spotless. It's a pity that its future remains in doubt  and that its so difficult to find availability.

GOOD CITY LOCATION

We have visited this site on several occasions and have never been disappointed. It is a ideally located on the dockside with water taxis to city centre or a pleasant walk past the SS Great Britain and Industrial museum.  The wardens have always been very helpful and the showers and toilets are very well kept and clean. We were there last in December and the shower blocks were always well heated.  The Cottage Inn is next door to the site that do good food and serve ales.

Spoilt by a careless owner

The site is superbly situated for a visit to Bristol with a pleasant walk along, mostly waterfront, to get to the city harbour area, then Broadmead Shopping Centre or the Hippadrome theatre. It did not start well however as when I was hooking up the electrics, in the rain, I happened to step in some unseen dog mess that some selfish owner hadn't bothered to pick up. I then transferred it to the inside of our motorhome. I was not best pleased. Not the sites fault but it sours the taste.
