two weeks stay

we had a good two weeks stay the wardens were great , we had only booked for 5nights as the site should have been full we got a phone call from the office as they had a cancelation, the assistant wardens decorated the site for Halloween it was good for all.

another great 8 days here wardens as usual were great and the way they dressed the site for hallowen was great fun for the kids so much so even some gypsys tried to gate crash but did,nt count on the steadfast wardens just a great pity they are moving on next season anyway merry christmas everybody

Halloween trip

We stayed for just 2 nights on 30th & 31st October. the site was easy to find and we were presented with a hand drawn map of the area on the back of the site plan that proved to be invaluable for our short trip. The wardens were fab as usual and made the most of the Halloween weekend, making the site looking like it had been visited by witches. We were just travelling as a couple but it was all great to see how much effort they had put in. We visited the tower dungeons and enjoyed lots of shopping around the many shops behind the tower. The first night we drove down the front to see the illuminations, the second we sat opposite the tower to watch the light show through the ages. free parking by the odeon/ Frankies & bennies. We enjoyed a lovely meal at Harry Ramsdens. No negatives

Lovely clean site handy for Blackpool

Lovely clean well kept site, we stayed for a week and like others have said the wardens did a great job of decorating the site for Halloween. Bit of a shame there is no TV points on site but we picked a signal up ok with an indoor aerial. Wi-Fi signal was abysmally poor and we had problems connecting or with the signal dropping out. We were there at half term so the site and Blackpool were busy. (Took 3 hours to go thru the lights). Overall we enjoyed our stay, we have been before and will be back again. Days out in Blackpool can sometimes be expensive but their is always something to do.

as usuall great wardens

we are always very pleased with blackpool site and there is always plenty to do this time we only stopped for four nights but was treated to the usual respect by all the wardens and this time they made a great job of decorating the site with haloween ,took the grandson this time and visited the zoo (great value for money we also visited tower circus two hours of hilarious entertainment did the lights on Wednesday night i wish some one would invent a way of getting through (took us three hours)still not to grumble always have a good time with the grandson BLACKPOOL SOUTH SITE IS GREAT

Great stay

Just back from a great couple of nights. Site staff did a fabulous job of decorating the site for Halloween. Will definitely be back ????????

Room for improvement

Good site and enjoyable week apart from the hike to service points,a walkway through from some pitches (we were on46) would be better rather than the trek round, or additional points,also and not the sites fault dogs barking from nearby houses until midnight marred the stay but we would use again

Wi-Fi VERY POOR

No problems with the site or the wardens,both are up to caravan club standards. The only gripe I have is the wifi most of the time it would not log on and when it did I conducted a speed test and it was between 0.5 and 1 meg the club really need to address this problem. I know if many members log on it reduces your speed but this is dire.:-(

Great site

We visited for a weekend in October with our grand children. The site is very clean and staff very welcoming and helpful. Ideally situated for Blackpool first time we have stayed and will definitely return
