This was a great site with the usual cleanliness and standard that we are used to with the caravan club. We chose this site for easy access to the Blackpool attractions as we have 2 children. What I hadn’t realised was the bus is over a 30 minute walk away, so I had to drive the family to Blackpool every day. We also had issues with the dogs as there is no dog walking on site and the roads outside the site were very busy. The wardens suggested a 15 minute drive to take them to the dunes. However the biggest issue by far was the attitude of the duty wardens! There was no friendly warm welcome which we are used to, just a very abrupt warden who was very unfriendly. During the stay I had further encounters with this warden and both were unfriendly and confrontational. On the last day of the stay the wardens changes and I have to say the new wardens were fabulous. Due to the unfriendly welcome, we won’t come back to this site.
