We have just returned from a very nice weekend at this site, even although it is an affiliated site it has the feel of a traditional CC site. If you pitch within the walled garden of the site it has a very open spacious feel and the pitches are very spacious. The toilet blocks are modern and kept clean the only criticism I could give is that the site could really be doing with a 2nd toilet block especially in high season when the site is full. The site is right next to Blair Drummond Safari Park and being set within the grounds of the estate there are plenty of paths for walking and cycling. The historic town of Stirling is a 10 minute drive away and is well worth a visit to see the castle and the Wallace Monument. Also close by is Callander with its good little shops and pubs. Overall a great site in a good location well worth a visit
