Great site, super wardens!

We spent Christmas here and then came back again for two weeks into the New Year. Wardens very friendly (Marie and Paul) were there when we left and Mark was there when we arrived before Christmas. Very clean, well-kept spotless showers and loos, all credit to the wardens. The only annoyance for us was irresponsible dog owners, we were annoyed by barking dogs on a few occasions...there were quite a few "dumps" left around the site. One day I had to report a fresh dump just up from the reception area, the poor warden (never got his name) immediately went out to retrieve it with a plastic bag! There was a strong smell of dog mess on the little path up to our pitch......dog owners please take note!! Why spoil it for everyone else? The site can get noisy when Whitehawk football club are playing nearby. Don't choose a pitch at that side when they're playing if you want peace on a Saturday afternoon! We had a super Christmas here and would have no hesitation coming back down.......

I couldn't fault this site if I tried.

This is my second visit within a few months. On arrival I noticed that there was some refurbishment works ongoing. Any fears that this would interfere with my stay were short lived. The site staff were as friendly and helpful as ever. The contractors were considerate and noise was never noticed by me. In fact the only sound other than the wildlife was the friendly sound of members and staff saying good morning or afternoon. There is a very friendly atmosphere here and we both had a relaxing time. There is so much to see and do in the area, but equally you can just sit and enjoy. I would recommend using this site for others to come and enjoy!

Dissapointing visit

I have been using this site every year visiting the London to Brighton Rally . When I arrived there was broken hard plastic all over my pitch which I had to cleared as there was sharp pieces which could have ruined my tyres . One night while out for a walk a Range Rover was being driving the wrong way round the one way system , to my amazement it was being driven by one off the wardens . The person who was opposite my pitch had a quad bike and kept revving it up and making a lot of noise driving around the site .

great access to Brighton and cycle paths

great site fantastic facilities. Very quiet when we were there despite fairly full. The best thing was access to Brighton and nearby foot paths. I'd recommend take a bike and you can cycle for miles on great cycle paths along the promenade or along bottom of cliffs or into town and you don't need to do any hills unless you want to

Great location

This is a clean, well-situated site. The pitches are a good size and well-spaced. The staff here are very pleasant and welcoming. WiFi is available at a cost, but we decided not to use it. Phone reception was good here. Plus, if you are a fan of wildlife, the park has several bunny residents! All-in-all, we were very pleased and would return to this site again.

Convenient site for Brighton

Spent a few days here over Christmas. Very convenient for Brighton and buses frequent. Well maintained. Only down for us was the very noisy fans at the football match on the adjacent ground on Boxing Day. Admittedly we were both suffering from colds which did not help but would recommend anyone to check that no matches going on if wanting a quiet break.

New Year 2015

As usual a nice winter's break on a well-kept and welcoming club site. One block was closed, which is understandable, but I was surprised to see that two shower cubicles and one toilet were closed off in the remaining block (mens). On the 2nd Jan there was a queue for both - not surprising with 75 units on site! Surely the wardens can maintain all the cubicles in one block, especially over a busy (and expensive) holiday period. Apart from that - a great stay.

Great Christmas break

We have used the Brighton site many times during the summer for the last 4 years, we love the site and Brighton town, plus the marina, In March 2014 we brought a new Swift Challenger SE 580 with the Aldi wet central heating system so thought we would try a week at Brighton over the Christmas week, we arrived on 28th December, and was surprised how full the site was this time of year, we were informed that only the main shower block was open, even with the amount of outfits on site we never had to queue to use the showers (during the summer both shower blocks are open) it was very pleasant to walk around the site during the evening to look at some of the caravan/motor homes with their Christmas lights and decorations on, we had such a great time we are now hooked on going away over Christmas and have booked up for this year, well done to the wardens who are always pleasant and hard working.

Late Dec 2014

Our third visit to the site - on perhaps the coldest two nights of the winter. Everything functioning well and all the facilities absolutely spotless. What a great spot!
