Excellent site
My family and I have recently spent 2 nights at Cherry Hinton and will definitely be back. A lovely campsite with excellent bus links into the city.

A lovely weekend
DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 1PM!!! We do feel the site is in a good location, easy to get to shops, the city centre via bus no 1 or 3, the facilities are spotless, well maintained etc and at least no cards or keys to get into the toilets/shower block which is a pleasant change. Will definitely go again at short notice as fairly local and its so peaceful. Lovely chalk pits to walk through too just opposite the site.

Very convenient site
My wife and I have used this site twice within the last 2 months. On each occasion we stayed for just one night en route to other locations.
We found the site easy to access from both the A14 and M11.
Facilities were very good and we shall be returning soon for a longer stay and to explore Cambridge.

Lovely site
Great site found a wonderful pitch. Please don't turn up early to this site as you will not be allowed in till the allotted time! Pity the signposting directions are not very apparent on the way into the site!!
Very well kept site and helpful management
Very clean and well kept site with heated facilities block. Also very helpful management who helped me solve a problem with my caravan. Location is good for visiting the area, whether Cambridge city (good bus service with local stops) or other places of interest in the area. The site doesn't offer any entertainment or play areas for children which may limit its appeal to families. The direction to the site is accurate, but other routes as long as they avoid Cherry Hinton centre are also OK, in particular from the A10/M11 junction is a good route.

We love this site, really friendly wardens. Facilities are absolutely spotless. Peaceful site in a lovely location and so convenient for bus intl Cambridge city centre.
Great Site
Great site.
The man who was on reception when we arrived was extremely friendly and helpful - he even lent us his cycling map of Cambridge! The site is peaceful and friendly, and I like the way it has lots of little area's, so you're not all in one big square, it makes it more natural and interesting - it's like you're in the country, when in fact you are really only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Cambridge centre. The cleanliness is second to none, the toilets and showers are always clean, and there's no litter or rubbish anywhere, not even near the recycling. There are plenty of waste, recycling and water stations, which is great, so no queuing up anywhere. All in all, a great site and a big thumbs up.
An Unusual Site
A busy site with good facilities and well located. It appears to be used by regulars who knew exactly where they wanted to pitch. We were allocated the last remaining pitch on arrival but had no problem with it and enjoyed our week's stay here. I suspect that some people with mobility problems would struggle with the steep inclines into the various areas en route to and from the facilities block. I was as fit as a racing snake after a week of traipsing up and down to the service point or further to do washing up, shower, etc! Not the most sociable of sites due to the design of the pitches being tucked into various areas. I also found the radio was a definite conversation killer in the dish washing area, where I usually enjoy finding out where people have been or going to, but it was great in the morning whilst having a shower. Loads of places to visit - Wicken Fen is fabulous for bird watching; Ely Cathedral just awesome; Cambridge was interesting and well worth a visit. Robin Hood pub was good value and very good food. Not sure if I would return here but we did enjoy our stay.

Exceptional Help
My wife and I arrived at Cherry Hinton after a very long drive up from the south of France heading for Dundee Scotland, having just received news of a family bereavement. The site was full but the relief warden on hearing of our situation immediately made a place in the late arrivals area available. She was extremely helpful and understanding and made a very difficult situation a little easier to bear. Our heartfelt thanks go to the relief warden for her kindness and understanding.
One of the best sites
I would recommend this site to anyone, the shower and toilet block are probably the best I have been in. The staff are first class and a credit to the caravan club, very helpful and friendly.
If I have to find a fault with the site, some of the plots are in the shade and don't get much sun.
I will definitely be back
