Probably the worst CAMC site we have visited and we have visited plenty, poor signage from the main road so easy to miss.
The site is mostly grass and quite muddy when wet, we arrived in a large MH to be told we needed to leave as we were too heavy for the grass and there were no hardstanding's left, nope, not a great start.
Eventually managed to get a HS (Much longer story) after we found one where someone had left early although we have to request that the wardens contacted the person to check.
Very uneven pitches, you will need blocks and chock and plenty of them.
It is in the country so expect it to smell especially near the road end as there was a mound of manure in the field opposite.
Toilets were clean, but the oldest and poorest facilities compared to other sites.
Would we return? absolutely not
On a positive note, the town and only pub is only a 15 minute walk away, or turn left out of the site and its a lovely walk to the 14th century church at the bottom of the hill which you can go in and explore, also a golf club you can use the bar and restaurant of, but currently not open to non residents due to C19.
