Thirteen nights at Carnon Down. What a pleasant and well-presented site. Large areas of grass amongst Hard Standings and all very well maintained. During our stay, too hot to go out, did it matter, no the site was pleasant enough to stay on all day; something not done before. The ground works team should be commended. None of this absurd nonsense of ‘No Mow May’ Superb presentation and a credit to all who work there. Nice Café/Bar on site, various visiting food vans throughout the week and staff available from 8.30am to 9.00pm. Nothing too much trouble and a very welcome change in attitudes to some site staff.
