Surprised that the cycle route leaflet says it is suitable for children due to on return steep hill on narrow road, no pavement and quite busy when we were there. There is a very very steep hill back from trellisic gardens, my electric bike struggled. The Bisscoe trail becomes rough track from cafe at Bisscoe, more suited for mountain bikes, narrow and rocky. We will return as the site is lovely. Although disliked shower curtains clinging, but liked the bigger combined cubicles with wc. Also beefeater just across the road.
