We visited Exbridge again at Easter and again enjoyed every minute of our stay even though the weather gods played havoc with the weather. This site is one of the best we have stayed on. The pitches are large and well laid out affording everyone with great views of the beautiful valley that stretches out in front of the site. It is located in an area that offer so much to do, fishing for Trout at Bellbrook or the local Exe Valley fishing, horse riding on Exmoor or walking the moor or nereby river pathways is all available. If you are into good food you will be spoilt, Dulverton has some great eateries but if you want to treat yourselves visit The Swan in Brampton less tha 10 minutes away by car or the Michelin Star acclaimed restaurant/pub The Masons Arms in knowton. There are plenty of lovely NT properties to visit and reasonably close by such as Knighthayes and Killerton beautiful period houses with beautiful gardens. I can't recommend this site highly enough oh and by the way access to it is a breeze.
Beautiful quiet site
We booked for 9 nights over and beyond the Easter break
Loved it here views are great weather at times was awful but felt nice and cosy in our Caravan
Phil and Julie the only wardens on site we’ve smashing people...
There was no water on and off for 4 days a major leak on the main road they kept us informed and dealt with the situation well... we ended up booking another 5 nights I would say this site is fantastic for couples and dogs.

Location
A perfect location for exploring Exmoor National Park. Easy road access and some good walks directly from the site, including the Exe Trail. Nice dog-friendly pub a few minutes walk from the site, mainly off road; a warm welcome, good staple food and local ales. We will definitely return.

Peaceful site
We have just come back from spending a week here and the site was very peaceful despite being visited by Storm Brian. The owners are extremely helpful and pleasant. We were even visited by the local Pheasant who came strolling through the site one morning.
Highly recommend this site and will certainly visit again soon.
Lovely site
We visited end of October 2017 in our motorvan. The half of the site with hard standings was open, plenty big enough for those wanting to stay.
The toilet block is lovely and warm and nicely decorated, hot showers and plenty of hairdryers.
There is a large grassy dog walk area and walks down by the river.
The local pub is a short walk away and provides nice food (book first at weekends).
A good base for touring the area.
Great location for visiting Exmoor & brilliant for dogs
We enjoyed our three night stay here - booked the extra night once we'd settled into our pitch. Felt really relaxed on this site after several long days touring and traveling in other counties. Great location for exploring Exmoor and the north Devon coast. We were travelling with our two dogs and this was the only one of the six sites that we stayed on during our touring break that had a dog exercise field, so we really appreciated that provision and loved that the dogs could stretch and play off lead, making a few new friends along the way! Beside a busy road, but that didn't really result in disturbance from traffic noise. Lovely countryside views.
Walked to the nearby local pub, the Anchor, on our last night for a yummy, good value tea - dog-friendly, so dogs came too. Nearby Dulverton and Tiverton (a little further out) were great for supplies. Although not planning to visit the area again for a good while, would definitely choose the site again for it's lovely setting, freindly welcome, dog freindlyness and ease of access to beautiful Exmoor...might even make an unplanned detour just to stay there. :) Would highly recommend.
Another superb week !
One of our favourite sites, and our second visit this year ! As always the site was superbly kept, and the facilities spotless - a credit to the hard working wardens ! We love the area in general and enjoy visiting the surrounding small towns and villages - seeking out the friendly pubs and the local cream teas ! Murphy (the dog) loves it too - the superb dog exercise area, a dip in the river across the meadows, and the sea at Minehead - yes, the tide was in !
Though there can be a little traffic noise at times, which goes quiet after dark, this is a superb well kept site and I'm surprised that more folk don't visit - though not too many - we enjoyed the peace and quiet !
Traumatic for us, but a good site
We had a vehicle breakdown on the way to this site. The wardens were really helpful and friendly when we arrived late and exhausted. We spent more time than we wanted at garages, but still had time to do some sightseeing and catch up with friends who live locally.
The facilities were really clean and just as you expect from the club sites. We had 2 pairs of wardens during our stay and they both made us feel welcome. I loved the laundry,as we've been travelling for 6 weeks.
The dog walk is fantastic, and there is another good walk nearby along the river.
We would certainly return here, the children's play area looked good, we may bring our granddaughter with us next time.

Best site for dogs ever!!
When visiting the area, we normally stay at Exmoor House site, but this year they had no availability for the week I wanted. However, we have just had a lovely week at Exebridge Lakeside with our 2 Deerhounds who loved the large doggy field where they were able to play with many new friends. The icing on the cake was the Anchor Inn, just a short walk away - the most 'doggy friendly' pub we have ever found, and with lovely food and a really friendly local clientele. The wardens on site were also among the best we have found. If you are thinking of staying here - just go ahead, you won't regret it!!

Exmoor break
We only came to check out our new caravan and two days was not enough.
Wow! Absolutely cracking.
More relaxed than Dulverton. Flat grass pitches, spotless toilets all in all one of the best.
The dog walk is lovely, as is the walk to the "local".
Can't wait to return
