Lovely site if you want to disconnect from the world for a bit..

My wife and I recently stayed at Freshwater East for a couple of weeks. We had been here before so knew what to expect, and in most respects the site is still a really lovely spot. The site is landscaped well, and has a mix of service and non serviced pitches and grass or hard standing pitches. The facilities are maintained to the usual club standards, and the wardens were very friendly and helpful. The site is also located a short walk from a lovely little beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. The downsides were mostly caused I think by the remote location of the site. There is no mobile signal, and almost non existent TV reception. The site was fairly busy while we were there, which may explain why the site wifi was virtually unusable. The lack of connectivity might be an attraction to some, but I don't think I can risk being that "cut off" from the rest of the world again so I doubt I'll be back. Shame, as it's a lovely site in every other respect.
