Good for families

Nice site but BEWARE

Lovely site with very friendly and helpful staff but what awful access. You get to the site via a single track road with narrow bridges and low overhanging hedges so if you have a motor home IT WILL GET BADLY SCRATCHED when you leave; sadly very bad access is the reason for the mediocre rating.

I have to wonder if you followed the recommended route as from that direction there is nothing that I would consider to be remotely challenging

if you followed the recommended route there is only one bridge, and the bridge is the only single lane area,

If you approach via Pont-Y-Cob Road as directed there is ample visibility and road width either side of the bridge to hold back if necessary and ample width for a single caravan or MH over the bridge.

If you approach from the other direction their is a bridge with max vehicle width of 2.3m ........... now that would be daunting!

but some have done it laughing
