Sorry to say but this site is the worst caravan club site we’ve stayed at for years simply because of the noise. Having read the reviews before booking we were aware of potential road noise before we arrived but goodness me I’ve never experienced anything as noisy ever before. The site sits directly on the main road between Henley and Harlow. It’s an extremely busy, fast main road and the traffic flow is continuous. Regardless of where your pitch is located you’ll be blasted with road noise. If your unfortunate to get a pitch on the roadside you’ll be a couple of metres away from the traffic with a small hedge separating you from the traffic. The site is clean albeit pretty tired. The showers are in need of a refurb and the roads need surfacing and the utility points are tired but other than that it’s reasonable.
