I have wanted to go to this site for so long but what a disappointment! The site itself is OK. Typical CAMC site. The staff were ok and facilities were clean and tidy albeit tired looking. Just glad we didn't go in the busy season!! Thankfully we only stayed one night as it was 'our halfway point'. On our return journey we stayed elsewhere! There's no way of getting away from the horrendous road noise. I know it's not the Clubs fault but I was not expecting it to be on such a busy road! The speed limit of 40 is not adhered to by most vehicles. How CAMC can say its 'peaceful' is beyond me. There is no way I would want to sit outside my van listening to constant traffic - it's not my idea of relaxing. You have to walk along that road to get to Henley-on-Thames (20 minutes). However the path in most places is overgrown by weeds/hedgerow. This is not a site I would return to and at £31.90 at the end of September for a hardstanding pitch I feel is overpriced.
