Perfect for exploring
A great quiet site with good facilities. We found the dog walk to be a really good size and secure. Staying on the grass means a trek up a slope to fetch water from either toilet block. The grassed area needs a standpipe and dustbin and waste water disposal.
The grassed area is also very short of lighting and a torch is definitely required after dark.
The male wardens were very friendly and helpful. However one of the female wardens didn't give you the time of day when booking you in or when handing your key in. It felt like we were an inconvenience to her. Customer service training required
