Great position
The facilities and cleanliness are remarkable, just excellent. It's an easy stop from the M6, within walking distance of Sizergh Castle, a NT trust house and garden, and even nearer to an excellent farm shop and cafe which has scrummy cakes. The site itself is interesting being on an old gunpowder mill. You can borrow a good little folder of info the camp staff have compiled to help you understand the historic site.Â
