First time at Knaresborough

Excelent site, clean, tidy and met all our needs. Site staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first time caravaning in this part of the country and it proved an ideal base for us to persue our hobby of geocaching. We ended up booking an extra night.

First time visit

This was our first time here at Knaresborough and we were not disappointed. We booked an extended weekend break as before the site has always been full, and we were planning to eat out in the evenings instead of cooking in the van ( for a change) But.... Have to say the site was immaculate, the wardens very friendly and helpful and we didn't have to go far to eat because the on site Bistro had an excellent choice of menu, the food was freshly cooked ( none of that microwave stuff) the plates were warm when hot food was served on them and was great value for money.Lets not forget also that the service in here was excellent! Would we go back? You bet we would ??

Fantastic Knaresborough

we have just spent seven fantastic nights at Knaresborough, the site along with the great bistro was a delight, the wardens were so friendly and helpful, the freshly cooked food and the local beers in the bistro were second to none, this site is one of the best we have stayed on and we will be back more than once, the whole site is maintained to the highest level and the toilet and shower block were so clean, its a great location to visit Yorkshire or even to venture up the North of England, give this site a visit and you will not be disappointed.

First Timer Trial

As first time caravaners, we could not have chosen a better site. helpful friendly wardens, clean site. Plenty of space to manoeuvre, on the level gravel pitch. The food and service at the bar and bistro were excellent.

Lovely town

A very pleasant site but as warned the noise from the nearby farm was fairly regular. Didn't use the bistro as we had made other plans but the menu and prices looked good, very helpful wardens will visit again soon

Lovely Place to Stay

What a lovely site. The wardens were temporary, but were so friendly and helpful. The site and facilities were spotless and it was such a bonus having the Bistro on site. We ate there two nights and on both occasions the food was great and the staff were so friendly. Loved Knaresborough and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The dogs loved it to. Definitely stay again in the near future

Lovely clean, well maintained site. Like the bar and bistro it was nice to have to a social area on site and mix informally with other caravanners. Staff were great. The relief wardens were great. Site is a lovely walk away from Knaresborough along the River Nidd. We decided to stay an extra day as both weather and site were so good. No play area so probably better for adults rather than families. Short walk to a pub that has a fantastic menu, food and friendly staff.  All in all a great week.

Very nice site

This is a very nice site situated within 2 miles of the beautiful town. Staff were extremely helpful and personable. The site itself is small but the wash block and landscaping are very well kept. We used the bar and bistro and as we did not want to go back into Knaresborough on the evening and this was an excellent option available. only down side would be there is nothing for kids to do on the site. I would recommend this and probably go back in the future.
